Darrell F. Ballinger's Online Review Report Card

I made an appointment with Dr. Ballinger 6 months ago because he seemed to have good reviews I was looking forward to having him help me with some chronic foot paindespite having to wait half a year to get to see him. When I was just two days out from my appointment I was told that the doctor was "too busy" on the day of my appointment and "we are calling to cancel your appointment and the others who had appointments that day." I asked if something came up suddenly and was told "no, he just has too much going on that day." I told them that I was confused about this as I had an appointment and didn't understand how the doctor could be "busy" and with who since the appointments made that day didn't seem to matter to anyone. I wasn't even told "I'm sorry" by the woman on the phone. They rescheduled me....for two months later!!! UNACCEPTABLE! I have found another doctor who has a competent staff and cares about me as a patient.

Dr Ballinger seems like a great dr., however I needed a shot for pain before an out of town wedding. Answering service said they could not get me in before so I could attend and wear shoes. The wedding is a month away. Husband and i are an established patient that was also going to schedule surgery. I said well I need just a shot before so I can walk, receptionist said "like I said we cannot get you in" I said well I will have to find a new provider then. She said ok that's fine have a good weekend. WOW guess they aren't concerned about losing patients. Never could get ahold of a manager. Unfortunately switched providers.

Best first meeting I've had in decades. He listens and he talks. Took a great medical history, did a thorough physical exam - talked about why he was doing what he was doing, what he was finding. Provided feedback, ordered tests. Gave insight into what he thought was ahead of me and what the outcome might be. Everything built my confidence in him - earned my trust. Treated me like I was capable of understanding. Felt great even though the news was probably going to be negative. Fully recommend him.

Dr.Ballinger is amazing so personable and pleasant to talk to. My mom just had surgery and I cant tell uou how wonderful and thurough he is. Im do excited to see the end results. Definitely reccomend him 100%.

I met with Dr. Ballinger in July 2021. He was excellent. Courteous and knowledgeable. Explained all options clearly and course of action. Highly recommend Dr. Ballinger.

Dr. B was amazing when I was having pain in the arch of my foot after pregnancy. He was very knowledgeable and was about to help me in one visit. I highly recommended him as wound care doctor and podiatrist. His staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and kind.

I enjoy going to my appointment at Grandview. Dr. Ballinger and his staff are great. Something they are running late but you’ll find this at many different doctor offices if they are any good.

Excellent doctor. He is very professional, thorough, respectful and compassionate. I would highly recommend Dr. Ballinger. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful as well.

First time good. Next time forgot to do diabetic test. Third time did not show up. Directed to go to one of his other offices 20 miles away

I recently had surgery for hammer toe.Told me everything up front about the surgery and what to expect. very laid back fantastic bed side manor. My wife loves this guy because he is so easy to talk to. We have the upmost respect for him. A PLUS in our book.
