Very charming to meet, of course he can help you with all of your problems, explaining everything so fast, reminiscent of a used car salesman, but the thought of life without pain medications, who can say no to that? Instead you're left with a life filled with more pain than before the surgery and no answers as to why. He is a monster that wants nothing more to do with you once he's opened you up and ruined your life, unless of course you'd like to come in for another surgery, and new doctors don't want to fix another doctor's mistakes. So what is their solution? Send the patient to a pain clinic... AVOID THIS SURGEON!!!

Dr. Borden is the best spine surgeon! He fixed my wife’s neck. She had been in pain for years. He helped when no one else would listen.

He is a very thorough doctor who looked at the other opinions, MRI, X-rays and then ordered a CT scan. My prior surgery hadn't healed. The surgery went smoothly and I am standing up straight again. The strength in my left leg is getting better and the pain is very much better. I am thrilled with the results after one month.

I have been having back pain for a long time now and it is getting worse. He (through his nurse) asked to take a x-ray and a MRI. On my follow-up consultation, the nurse did a great job walking me through the results. Nothing major was found. He walked into the room for the first time, asked me to point where the pain was, and without taking a close look said that I pulled a muscle as he was already walking out the door. When I asked about the pain, he prescribed me a shot. When I asked if I need to do physical therapy since I have had this pain for years now and the shot is a temporary fix, he said I “yes, I can prescribe it”. He was very dismissive and spent less than a minute with me. Needless to say, the pain is back and I got a huge bill because of my deductible. Waist of time and money!!!

Dr Borden is terrible. My husband had back surgery in November and has had pain and infection. The dr would no do anything about it, until he saw. What is was doing. Pictures did not phase him. Had a ct scan done it now states a screw is lose. If this is not taken care of we will proceed with a law suit.

Dr. Borden uses the very latest techniques. He is very thorough in the office. The other surgeon I saw didn't get a scoliosis film. Dr. Borden also used computer software to plan my surgery and a robot to assist him during the surgery. The incisions were tiny and the screws were placed through the skin. I am very pleased with the results! It is amazing what technology can do these days -- in the right hands!

After seeing several other surgeons, based on a referral from my physical therapist, I went to see Dr. Borden. He spent so much time with us and was very thorough. He looked at everything and then used computer software to design the surgery. The implants were custom designed to my own body. Dr. Borden worked with a robot during surgery. He made really small incisions. The pain relief was instant, I went home the same day and was back at work 2 weeks later. We couldn't be happier with his care. Great team also!

Jonathan Borden is a wonderful man! His hands are blessed. He performed life saving surgery on me 10 years ago and I just brought my husband to see him today. He is 86. Dr. Borden is recommending non surgical treatment. We are both so relieved!

Dr. Borden went the extra mile for me. I had severe pain for years and have been to multiple surgeons who didn't take me seriously, and did surgeries that just made things worse.
