Dr.Shaw has been doing my surgeries and tending to my wounds for 3 years now and I can't say I have found a better doctor. He is extremely compassionate and truly cares about my medical needs and how I am functioning as a person. His nurses are the greatest as well. I have never been treated poorly and they even put up with my witty sense of humor!

I cannot thank Dr. Shaw enough! I have been going to him for several years, sometimes on a weekly basis and my condition was one of the worst he had ever seen, but he persevered and got me through some of the toughest times in my life. He really knows his stuff and will try different things until he figures out something that works. I love that he will ask his nurses what they think at times. It shows he works as a team and isn't too prideful in himself. I will continue to go to him for my medical needs for as long as I need to. As a plus, he doesn't mind my sense of humor and just plays along. There aren't too many doctors like this. You won't be disappointed!

I have had several surgeries by Dr. Shaw. He is a skilled surgeon who places a great emphasis on treating the whole patient, not just the condition. His caring, skill, knowledge and insight make him stand out among his peers. This surgeon is a true healer.

When a member of our family was the hospital for surgery, Dr. Shaw was very open and up front with us and able to relate to both patient and family. The family member was discharded and sent to a local nursing home for rehabilitation. The care there was lax and they (relative) ended up back in the hospital on Christmas Day. We were very suprised to look up and see Dr Shaw in our waiting room to see us, dressed not for hospital rounds, but he had came from home. We will never forget his kindness.
