I never personal had him, but he delivered my grandbabies. He was wonderful and very professional obgyn. Straight forward and no bs. If your a whinner, boo who about everything while pregnant your not going to like him.

He doesn't care about your feelings. He will not sugar coat anything. Doesn't really have any empathy or sympathy. If you want a doctor that doesn't care what you want or how you feel, he's the doc for you. High C-section rate. He's wants to get the job done and carry on about his day.

Dr. Chismar and his staff are great! He is direct and to the point which I prefer. He runs appointments on time and quick but not rushed. He was very sympathetic with changes and uncertainty with COVID. Meaghan, his wife, is equally amazing! She answered so many breastfeeding questions. This was my 4th baby but I learned so much I wish I had known with my previous babies! Meaghan also works hard with billing. Our insurance changed the month our baby was born and it caused a lot of problems but she worked it out with us so the correct insurance paid their part.

I've seen Dr. Chismar for about 2.5 years since I moved to the area. Regular annual exams were fine, no issues. I developed a cyst, which ultimately he recommended for surgery. The surgery was on a Friday and went fine, but the doctor never came to see me after surgery to let me know how it went. He did brief my husband in the waiting room, though my husband remained unclear about what was removed. ...

I wouldn’t even give this guy one star, at my first appointment he told me I had a miscarriage before he even ordered bloodwork. First off you don’t tell a expecting mother that in a blunt way, second don’t assume what you don’t actually know. Currently have a bundle of joy that is one month old........ wouldn’t suggest this doctor to anyone. 🤬

Dr. Chismar has delivered all 3 of my beautiful babies as well as taken care of all my pre and post partum needs and some of my mental needs as well. I love his family and the encouraging ladies he chooses to have in his office who always put my mind at ease.

Dr. Chismar and and his staff are absolutely wonderful. Everything about my first pregnancy has been great thanks to everyone at his office. Very kind,understanding and informative and they did everything to make sure me and my little boy was ok. Would 100% recommend this doctor!
