Ok but not great
He did the job on Labor Day and I went Deer Hunting First Day of Bow Season.I am looking g forward to Him correcting the rest of my problems soon.
Doctor Guidera took care of me when I procrastinated on coming in for chest pain, I was a complicated case, he never gave up and although the outcome was not what some would want, he did a great job taking care of me. Awesome bedside manor, skillful in his craft, and a great person. Thanks Dr. Guidera for all you did.
Professional and excellent at his specialty. Bedside manner is also great.
saw me in expeditious fashion for second opinion on cardiac cath results. Was concerned about the possibility of more severs coronary disease than original reading suggested. Performed cath with more up-to-date technique and got results that made more sense vs vis my symptoms. Great bedside manner. Confident but not pompous.
He is an amazing doctor! I am 58 and had a heart attack. I was scared to death, I met Dr. Guidera and knew I trusted him, he did a cath and put in a stent in a blocked artery. He followed up the same day. He is a wonderful man and a fabulous doctor. Do not go to anybody else, he exudes confidence and knowledge with a wonderful bed side manner. It is a wonderful feeling when you are scared to have a peace of mind with your doctor.
Dr. Guidera is simply the BEST! I have a number of stents, 4 of which were done before I found him at large hospitals in Philly and the Lehigh Valley and just is better at his skill set, but his presence, his explaining of what's going on. His office staff and other doctors in the practice are all excellent. The attending staff at Doylestown is second to none.
I had a routine, right wrist arterial catheterization of the left-side heart to illustrate blood flow patterns. Dec 2016. I was the lucky recipient of a ticket into the center of Doylestown's HeartLab. If any cardiologist ever offers you a test to prove or disprove a condition and Steven Guidera's name comes up as a possible surgeon, take them up on the idea. Dr. Steven Guidera exudes confidence. He knows and anticipates every detail, explaining from the patient's point of view the next, and every, little thing that is about to occur. He works with a staff that constantly supports and anticipates his every need. There is time for humor, and illustration. You, the patient, are there in front of the doctor, prone between himself and his 70 inch flatscreen monitor, hanging in mid-room awaiting action, angled downward so that you, and he, have a good view. . There are small windows of data streaming with live results all around the edges. Then the majority of the screen is devoted to the catheter's camera -- bigger-than-life view -- of all that is in and around YOUR heart. He explains what you are seeing, what one could see next, what you don't see since there is no inadequacy over there, etc. It's a multi-million dollar lab, and Dr. Steven Guidera was at the center of it all, on the morning of my time there, multitasking beyond whatever the patient can observe, all the way to the lowliest actor in the realm of his sphere. Between patients, he's out in the recovery area asking those ahead of you if they have questions or concerns of their, now completed, exam. Then he's back to you, his recent study, to summarize what just occurred, like he's got all day.... Off then to his next patient, assuring them that their fears and anxieties are of no use here, like so much wasted effort. 'Is there anyone who wants a cath, here?", he calls out to the room at large... More seriously then, he asks for assistants to roll a well prepped patient on into the theater 'right there between him and his flatscreen full of data' and away he goes. As an exiting patient, you're in the hands of the competent 'Heart-Lab' staff. For Steven G. is off documenting, with fine detail, the many characteristics of another heart. This is Dr. G. at idle. I wasn't the recipient of his emergency services, where something is dramatically amiss, but i can only guess that he can gear up, far from idle, whenever necessary, and fast, to save the life of anyone entering that room of his, when ever it is humanly possible to do so... dhb dec.2016
Doctor Guidera preformed a cardiac catheterization on me and I had no problems. All my worries were for nothing. All of the staff in the catheterization department at Doylestown Hospital were also great. Dr. Guidera took the time to explain what he was about to do to me and took time to speak to my wife when the procedure was finished, which made her feel a lot better about it. Dr. Guidera took the time to explain what he found when he did the cardiac catheterization on me He is a great doctor!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
