I've stayed in a boot 6 weeks, waiting for an MRI. My insurance turned it down because he did not start PT. I use a major health insurance, for him not to know the basic requirements for an MRI shows his incompetency.

I agree with some of theses Reviews! Eric Monson himself is Good put his Assistant Davon is Rude! You have & agree to things with Dr.Monson & shes overrides it! I had been missiagnosed for over a yr! With a Talus neck fracture! & had been walking sideways on my foot for over a yr..I couldnt walk very much ir far! By this time EVERYTHING was dead in my FOOT!! Dr.Monson wanted me to wait in oain for another yr?? I did! He did put me in a walkining boot!(thank God). I ended up having 2 surgerys!

Erik K. Monson is a doctor practicing in the wrong field of expertise. His knowledge, bedside manners, and more is out the door! He could not have learned or understood his subjects when in school...he is pretty dumb. He ask irrevelant questions in reference to your complaint....he improperly diagnose your illness. He orders wrong and unnecessary tests. When he is standing and looking dumb-founded and confused with zero questions and a blank face...it is BEST you excuse yourself immediately and RUN!! He spends much less than 5 minutes with you during your office visit. The majority of the five minutes he is standing looking overwhelmed with pink flushed cheeks and staring off into space. Considering that his office staff is rude...unprofessional...obnoxious...and just like him. This so-called doc, should be working at McDonald's flipping burgers if he can handle that...and take his weak...lame....unprofessional staff with him...because they are obstacles in the way of people successfully healing and recovering. I cannot believe he is in practice...well he won't be for long. Please do not go to Monson for anything...you will ULTIMATELY REGRET IT.

After suffering w an ankle sprain & knowing something was not right for 8 mos, I finally got in to see Dr. Monson. He spent maybe 7 minutes with me, told me to wait another 3-4 mos and it would heal itself. I left & found another doc. This one ran an MRI & found the damage. Torn tendon, stretched ligaments, muscle torn and slipped... maybe if he had listened to me Monson would have cared to run an MRI himself.

Dr Monson is very caring and concerned. Very personable,also. His interns were great,too!
