List of Eugene Chio's Reviews
Very knowledgeable and personable. Highly recommend.
Dr. Chio is very professional and has good communication. He is patient and answers all questions. His office assistant Corinne has Excellent customer service. I would recommend!
Honestly, Dr. Chio is amazing. He did an excellent job on my surgery, was very informative, and very helpful throughout the process. However, his assistant Liz is horrible. She’s aggressive, rude, unhelpful, and refuses to fill out paperwork or return patient phone calls. When I needed to extend my leave, she chose to simply not respond to my request, making it so I had to go back to work before I was ready. Because of Liz Sunseri, I would recommend going to a different doctor, and would not recommend this practice to anyone I know. Dr. Chio, get a new assistant.
Dr. Chio is a good doctor. He is professional and has good communication. He is patient and answers all questions. I would recommend him. His office assistant Corinne is Excellent at customer service.
His verbal skills are much appreciated. He gives careful and full explanations of the facts you need as a patient. I'm so glad to have found Dr. Chio after having some bad experiences with the large ENT practice on Bethel Rd. I can recommend him.
Dr. Chio did a fine job on my sister's surgery, but his assistant Liz who works with patients was unnecessarily rude and unhelpful. Did not have pleasant interactions with her at all.
Dr. Choi operated on me to place the inspire device. The first surgery failed and the nerve was damage. The reposition surgery wasn’t done until the next calendar year and required the assistance from an expert from the company. As part of the review, I was required to have multiple xrays per the request of the company. Dr Choi later said that they were probably not goi g to show anything and we’re not required. However, I did as directed. In total, the reposition was another $3,500 out of pocket. And the worst part is, I’m not sure the device is effective. I would NOT recommend Dr. Choi or this procedure.
He was able to diagnose that I had a migraine disorder with atypical symptoms after one visit, rather than recurring sinus infections which a previous doctor at Ohio ENT was not able to figure out after multiple visits. I only wish I had been to see him sooner. Very impressed with his thoroughness.
I saw him twice for the same symptoms/condition. He acted interested/concerned on my first visit. He told me they would come up with a plan to determine my problem and treat me. But, he couldn't tell me what the problem was. Prescribed me omeprazole, even though I said I had previously been prescribed that medicine and it had no effect. The second time he wanted me to see a neurologist and prescribed migraine meds and told me to let him know how it worked because he was out of ideas. Needless to say, the migraine meds did nothing either. He didn't perform any blood work or tests or anything. I went to another doctor. He found thrush down in my throat. All it took was a little effort on the doctor's part to run some tests and do some actual investigative work. Choi lacks the ability to solve problems if they are not typical text book symptoms/problems.
Dr. Chio was very dismissive of my concerns. A CT scan of my sinuses was ordered for ongoing sinus issues and when he called to discuss the results, he said my sinuses looked good. He failed to mention that the scan found abnormally large lymph nodes and further testing was recommended. I didn't find out until months later when I went in to review the results myself.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
