List of Louis J. Chorich Iii's Reviews
Very thorough!! Explains how the examination works!
I have been seeing Dr. Chorich for about two years now. He is the kindest most caring doctor that I have ever been to. After three cornea transplant’s he could finally see into the back of my eye There was a lot of scar tissue and he went in to do surgery. When I was in recovery he came to talk to me and said there was really nothing we could do to correct my sight because there is so much scar tissue from the trauma that my I had been through and the retina had detached. I would recommend him to anyone who has retina issues. He is so soft spoken and concerned about getting your eye back to health so he suggested that I get a second opinion. I didn’t want to because I trust him explicitly but he insisted. I would recommend him to anyone who has retina issues.
My condition was fairly urgent. I saw Dr. Chorich one day at a satellite location and had a laser procedure at the East location the next day. He was thorough, knowledgeable and extremely kind. His voice is calming and I felt like I was in good hands. Prior to being taken to a room the receptionist explained that the office saw emergency appointments as well after I asked if she could give me an idea how long the procedure would take. I wasn’t inconvenienced and was appreciative of receiving timely treatment.
Dr. Chorich, M.D. is one of the nicest doctors I have ever encountered. He is a well-mannered, soft spoken doctor. He reminds my husband and me of Mr. Rogers (a child's show from TV). He explains everything to me and shows me on the screen what he is talking about. Yes, I do recommend him. He is gentle, kind and knowledgeable. What else could a person want? Helen Baughman, Heath, Ohio.
As a patient who has been seeing Dr. Chorich for most of his practicing years, I can't say enough good things about his care, his mannerism, and his concern for his patients. I feel he is superb in his knowledge of his field and the conditions that can occur with the retina. I highly recommend him as a physician if one is experiencing retinal problems.
Dr Chorich is very kind, explains thinks well and is caring. However, plan to spend around 3 hours for an appointment. I have tried 3 different offices of his and continue with the extremely long appointments.
What can I say more than this Dr has kept me seeing for at least 16 years and today I had the Privilege of being his first patient in the Marysville office!!! Feel Extremely Blessed to have my Eyes in His and Staff's hands!!!
Whatever a macular pucker is, it is gone now. Solid performance.
Dr. Chorich is nice.but the wait and the rude receptionists ould use much improvement. I am disabled and ask for a place where I can elevate my leg and they looked at me like I was on another planet. After waiting over 2 1/2 to see the doctor..I was finally told he was called away.to surgery. Never did.get to see the doctoresults that day. When I asked if I could reschedule again I got the look from receptionist that this has never been asked.before.
Dr. Chorich is obviously a wonderful and caring Doctor. I do have a problem with waiting 2 hours to see the doctor after my eyes were dilated. Then my exam was about 5 minutes. I felt as if the staff were irritated with me as I vocalized my concern with the long wait. No one stopped by to explain, which would have helped.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
