List of Na Li's Reviews
I had a colonoscopy and had legitimate questions about pains that led upto the endoscopy. The doctor had no professional answers and what I should do with the phantoms pains on my sides. She never asked how severe these pains were. I felt like I was just a transaction to her. I would not recommend the doctor. She needs a PHD in people skills with her patients.
As mentioned before Dr. Rebecca Na Li is efficient and very capable, making sure she has read the patient charts and reviewed symptoms and medications. Both my husband and I needed a new primary physician when our long-time physician decided to retire from general practice to become a hospitalist MD.Once she knew us and our needs, her professional manner improved to warm and cordial. She has referred us to specialists, made sure our orders for scans and labs are promptly sent and, in my opinion, has a friendly and competent front desk and medical assistant staff. My husband had no trouble in scheduling his physical exam once he became the Doctor's new patient - a two step process, carefully explained by the staff.I highly recommend this physician.
Dr. Li is THE most unprofessional Dr I've ever personally interacted with. Unfortunately my regular Dr was on leave and I had to see Dr. Li. When she found out I was there for an annual physical she literally YELLED at the staff in the office "Who made this appointment?!" And told me that she would be unable to see me unless there was something wrong. Which there wasn't. As I left, (less than 5 min after I got there), she was still yelling at the staff in the hall.A month later I got a notice in the mail that I was being billed $393 for the appointment and she claimed she had treated me. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! It's a scam and she is a loon.
I have been going to Dr. Li for over three years now. She is very concerned about my wellbeing. She has made excellent diagnostic evaluations for my medical conditions that are supported by UC Med. Ctr. SF. She is knowledgeable, very polite, and attentive.
Dr. Li has been my physician for 7 years. When she left her office in Greenbrae and moved to Novato, I stayed with her. She is an amazing diagnostician who always leans toward trying the simplest road when dealing with a problem. For example, I am now a dedicated Neti Pot user - it's a great help with these winter colds. If something requires further action, then she will do so. Most recently I had booked my wellness exam way in advance and found on the very day that I had a virus and felt very weak and ill. I phoned the office to tell them of the problem and was told by the staff that she may want to see me and that perhaps she would have to charge me if I couldn't make it in. I had actually wanted to see her to go over my blood test results. My husband said he would drive me, but Dr. Li sent back a message that I should stay warm and rest. I was impressed that she would be willing to give up an appointment. Of course she didn't charge me.I would totally entrust my health care to Dr. Li.
Dr. Li has been my primary care physician since my retirement in 2012. I would rate her at the top of primary care doctors I have had. She is thorough, knowledgeable, practical, and cordial in a very businesslike way. She is direct and to the point without a lot of small talk, but easy to converse with when I wish to discuss some aspect of my treatment. I have on one or two occasions had to see her on short notice, and her office and she have always been responsive to that need. I am never thrilled to have to visit a doctor, but am grateful she is there when I need her.
Terrible office! Stay away. We joined the practice in October to do a physical exam. They lost the paperwork of the previous doctor and delayed the appointment until December. We specifically asked for a physical. We came for the physical , we were told this was an "initial doctor visit' and charged $385;not covered by insurance. They explained they required it for new patients. We went back for a physical after being told to draw blood, the office was told it was a physical. We walk in and the doctor meets us and gives us 10 minutes to go over the physical exam and dismisses us. Office says that this was an " office visit" and charges us an office visit not covered by insurance. Then after wasting our time and still not giving us a physical 4 months later, they have the audacity to call and say ' schedule a physical". We refuse until they fix their mistake. meanwhile our insurance bills us for the blood work stating that the vitamin D exam is not part of a physical exam. Another costly error to the patient. We tell the office.... they don't reply , never answer phone, we write to them, visit them in person, we get ' the bill is the bill' answer. We then asked them to do the physical exam and cancel the 'office visit' as our insurance covers the physical The doctor says the last visit was an .office visit...... we quit.... terrible office.... terrible mistakes...... doctor may be ok as a doctor but not willing to correct several mistakes... don't go there!! You will be left with a big bill and no service. They don,t do what the patient asks for..
I did not get to observe much of the medical skills, however the visit was lacking any kind of helpful insight. My biggest complain is about the nasty attitudes in the office. First, I was incorrectly charged for the service I did not request. For example, a minimal blood test was $900. Second, when I called to dispute, a billing specialist told me "the charge is the charge" and hang up in the middle of my sentence. Separately, when I called their on-call doctor after my accident (which happened to happen after-hours), and after being transferred to HIM (not Dr. Li) by some switchboard person, the voice on the line told me that I have to be more respectful of his time --before even asking me what happened. It is dreadful who these people robbing the system without even trying to be polite to the people who pay for their BMWs. Never again will I go to this sweatshop!
Dr Li is an excellent MD. She is very thorough, very intelligent and attentive. On a scale of 1-10, I rate her a 12.
Dr. Li took very good care of me during my pregnancy. She was very knowledgeable, and caring. She took every precaution she could when doing a colonoscopy on me at 22 weeks pregnant.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
