New Vision At East Liverpool City Hospital's Online Review Report Card

The resident clinic is great! I was able to get my high priced prescription for a fraction of the cost. They were wonderful to work with. I highly recommend them.

I was just there for a scheduled test. I arrived 10 minutes early to get through registration. I waited over 1/2 hour in registration. They are very rude there while waiting. Called a SIR, when I clearly am a woman. I as there 15 minutes before they took people a head of me. Then the lady argued with me about my insurance. Then she called someone else who told her exactly what I told her. She obviously has no clue how to do her job. She spent way took much time typing stuff in the computer that should already have been in there. So after another 10 minutes, I get to where I am supposed to be they have my records/account locked and that lady couldn’t do anything else with it until her supervisor did something. I have extremely bad anxiety, made a whole lot worse by the people who ate supposed to be taking care of me. I will find another provider for my medical care. I wouldn’t go there if I was dying.

recently had to have emergency appendectomy. i was treated respectfully. staff was amazing. doctor did a perfect job. i had to spend the night and the nurses were helpful , kind, concerned and the food was great. i can not think of a single negative issue i had. great job EVERYONE!

this place is going under horrible staff no nurse contracts no management just sell and get it over with so we can have real care in the city

I went to the emergency room last night after sitting at Salem Hospital for 4 hours I decided to come to East Liverpool City Hospital. I have never and I mean never been treated so well as they did last night. I was seen within an hour and constantly asked if there was anything they could do to make me feel comfortable. 100% recommend.

The staff has been very disrespectful to a patient. They went as far as to place a dirty urinal on a tray table where food goes. Staff is just rude on all levels.

I have never seen such disrespectful and arrogant providers in my life. To watch my grandmother have to be transferred because she was near death and then get to Pittsburgh only to find out that she was put on a medicine that she told them she was allergic to but was told it would help her was absolutely disgusting. Dont bring a house plant here let alone anything living.

I hate to even say this about my hometown hospital. Don’t get me wrong the staff was very polite and nice to me. BUT I was pretty much neglected for 10-12 hours on November 1st. I was admitted and waited 12 more hours in ER to even receive a room. I was neglected because the ER staff were under the impression I was already on the 5th floor and a few times ignored my call light within those 10-12 hours. I am on day 16 of being super sick. I feel I was let out way too soon. My blood work and levels are not good STILL. Once I got to the 5th floor I received better care but they are very short staffed, understandable. The hospital tried blaming my insurance, BS!!!!! I have great insurance and yes it may be foreign to ELCH but still a patient should NOT be neglected being in SO much pain. There are so many more things I could say.. I will just leave it at this. & yes I did speak to a supervisor and haven’t heard a word. I was released November 3rd.

Spent last night and this am at ELCH. The entire crew were knowledgeable and helpful although Jane in triage was a lit rough around the edges at first but caught herself and changed her demeanor kinda quickly. I understand stress played a part. I’ll let that slide she gets a 7. Patient and family member status must always come first. Special shout-out to BRIAR ( not sure if sp is correct) Briar is the BEST! Thanks to Briar and the crew!
