I was in a very bad way, and my condition was so severe, my wife insisted I go to the ER even though three specialists had already failed to correctly diagnose what was wrong with me. I had never met Dr. Gershkowitz and had very low expectations. He took the time to ask questions, all the while making me feel at ease. He tried a few things the other doctors did not, including a test that revealed the underlying issue. I couldn't believe it! I had literally suffered for years, spent time with (who I thought) were some of the greatest medical minds in their field, then this ER doc I'd never met or heard of basically cures me in 30 minutes! Subsequent follow-ups to a doctor he recommended bore out his diagnosis, and I am proud and relieved to say I've been pain-free for over a year!

This “doctor” flew in our room after we waited for 2.5 hours, didn’t look at the charts, didn’t ask questions, didn’t let us get a word in, wanted to write a prescription for Percocet and send us out the door. This “doctor” needs his head evaluated. stay far away from Mercy medical in Austintown Ohio. They also gave us someone else summary papers with their SSN on it. Real professional.

Dr. Gersh didn’t look at my son (4m) and already was ordering treatments. Didn’t give chance to ask any questions and didn’t answer any questions. So rude, condescending. Forcing treatments without any logical connection to the symptoms and wouldn’t explain anything. Didn’t speak to me once— only yelled at me the entire time.

Brought my 14 month old son to the ER with a concussion, he refused to even observe him and discharged us after LITERALLY 15 minutes

Brought my 14 month old into ER with a concussion and he discharged after 15 minutes. Our pediatrician couldn’t believe it! Dr Gershkowitz was rude, dismissive and insulting.
