List of Rachel Waldman Md's Reviews
Dr. Waldman is excellent and her nurse Kim is a godsend! I don't know what I would do without them both as part of my care team. She is cautious and caring, which is very good trait in a Dr. Listening and will hear your side also! I feel very lucky for her to care for me!
A complete waste of time aside from the physical therapy referral. I never had the opportunity to ask any serious questions in any of my appointments. She always seemed to want to rush things and get out of the door as quickly as possible. $115 copays for ten minutes of not even being listened to. I’m still having issues and i’m back to square one. The lack of empathy is truly disturbing.
Dr. Waldman is a great doctor but her office staff gets zero stars from me. Calls are never returned, prescriptions are never called in. Disgraceful.
Very poor communication. My treatment was delayed due to their lack of contacting me and did not even return 3 calls that i made to her. First excuse was “the person who does that is no longer here, but we will have Dr Waldman call you”, but then no return call. Then on my next call “we are having computer issues and can’t get your lab results”, which were drawn a week prior and even though I got the results myself from the lab, the day after having them drawn. Again I asked for Dr to return my call, but no return call. I found the doctor to lack concern for my treatment. Another excuse given to me was, “we are very backed up”, and she only works 3 days a week.
I was referred to Dr Waldman about a year ago after diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. Dr Waldman has gone over and above any expectations I may have had about doctors in general as I had never been sick with anything until this diagnosis. She has been able to help me get through this past year with confidence and a positive outlook toward my future. When I was diagnosed with this chronic disease, I was scared and had so many questions. She answered them in layman’s terms, and along with working with my other doctors, was able to help me to understand that I “can” survive this dispite my skepticism, as I mentioned above, I had never been sick before in my life like this! Because of the care you’ve genuinely taken with me, I’m confident that I will come away from this with a greater sense of well being! Dr Waldman, I appreciate you and your staff for taking such good care of me. Thank You! LA
The Doctor is great ,office staff very unprofessional!!! Will not call you back after weeks of trying to get answers about medication.
Dr. Waldman is one of the fiercest advocates I've ever met for her patients. She listens. She also cares. She spent weeks sorting out issues with the insurance to get me the medication I need and she is always kind, compassionate, and thoughtful.
Fantastic physician, both bedside manner and clinical competence. Office is very well managed and friendly.
Only giving 1 star because 0 stars isn’t an option. I was referred to Rachel Waldman by my primary care physician due to some arthritis issues I was having. I understand specialists are very busy, but even with a referral it took me 3 months to get my first appointment. During the first appointment we went over my family history and talked about what was going on with me. She insisted we run some “general tests” to learn what was causing the issue. I voiced my concern over what medical bills would come with testing and she explained that insurance usually covers these general tests. Fast forward one month and I get the results of the tests back, she explained that nothing came up on the tests (which is great news) but we still have no answers. A week later I received a bill for over $1000 after my insurance took care of their part. I’m left with a $1,000 bill for these “general tests” that I was told were very “basic” and that my insurance should cover. Over the next 3 months I have reached out 10 times to her office to ask what the options are to possibly recode the bill. Each time I called I was told that someone would reach out to me, after 10 calls in 3 months no one has called back. I waited 3 months to see the doctor with a referral and am left with a bill over $1,000 with no answers on my medical issues. Do yourself a favor and seek other doctors when looking for a Rheumatologist!
Dr Waldman has been my Rheumatologist for over 8 years now. She has been my saving grace through having this disease, understanding it, learning new techniques to conquer day to day activities, as well as emotional changes that occur through receiving a diagnosis such as RA. I cannot stress enough how much she has helped me through this entire journey. She listens to every concern, researches anything she doesn't feel 100% informed on, to make a better informed decision in my health care plan. This is a lifelong disease, crippling at times, physically and emotionally, and I am blessed to have Dr. Waldman on my team !

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
