List of Easternwoods Family Practice's Reviews
The desk girl with glasses and crazy hair refused to help me with getting my children’s medical records for 3 months. When I asked for them she told me “I don’t have time to print them so no I won’t print it out for you” she didn’t give me any other way to go about getting my medical records. I would have been fine with picking up on another day if it were too much to print but I wasn’t given any more options and sent out of the office they didn’t want to even deal with me with my simple request. I called and called and had to go in person multiple times since June and beg the desk girls to give me my records so I can go to a new office and that they were prolonging my 1 and 4 year of getting care and not one knew anything about any of their policies or cared to help me out. They showed no empathy or interest in helping child patients receive the paperwork needed to get their doctors appointments. The other office I am going to even tried reaching out on my behalf and their calls even went unanswered. I finally was told about the medical records room in the hospital and went and asked them to print them out and they happily did so but we’re a little thrown off that I was there and not getting help through my doctors office, since the doctors office was supposed to call medical records. It took me 3 months to get my records since none of the desk ladies knew what to do and only wanted to give me uncaring unprofessional responses. Absolutely do not recommend. They seem to only be here for a paycheck and not in healthcare because they care about helping people. The reason I was switching doctors in the first place is Dr . stull mom shamed me for not being able to make it to an appointment since I had a car wreck and couldn’t miss anymore work or money and sending my mom in my place. Dr stull said “ she couldn’t take 15 minutes out of her day to be her with her daughter” to my mother in regards to me being at work trying to make money for my family to survive. Dr stull proceeded to call me 13 times back to back upset that my mother came to my daughters physical and not me. I am only human and my mothers is a trusted adult. The response from dr stull was ridiculous. Theres no understanding and empathy here.
I have never dealt with such unprofessionalism. The "Secretary" never answers the phone, you are always sent to voicemail and asked to leave a message in which she may or may not return at her leisure. They never send over orders for labs or testing so you, again, have to play the "telephone game" with their voice-mail because NO ONE answers the phone no matter what time of day or need. I've had two previous Dr's leave this practice in the years I've been here and now I understand why. Seek a Dr and a practice that genuinely care about their patients and hires people that have titles to their job that actually do their job. Do Not Recommend.
Dr Islam is very thorough. She takes time to listen and understand her patients . Dr Islam writes down her instructions and gives them to her patients. This is ver helpful to her older patients who may not remember everything she says.
I'm not a patient here but all I can say is they need proper care there , my wife shows all the signs of diabetes, but they say it's high blood pressure, this is funny because all she's experiencing, is diabetes related, and said she needs 150 hours of exercise a week, lol this is nuts we are getting a second opinion, the health care system is rigged to fail. It's a business, nothing more. Hopefully we can a genuine practice.
They will assume you are lying and the result will be you not getting the treatment you need. Go somewhere politics don't overshadow medical practice.
My visit was with Dr. Weiner. I have never seen a doctor so unhelpful, so unprofessional, with absolutely no regard for his patients' well-being. I'm in the process of filing a formal complaint against him. And I will never use Eastern Woods again.
Prior patient here having significant leg pain in shon area. Assuming it’s shin splints but hurts pretty bad and my income is dependent on me covering miles per day on foot. I was told I don’t have anything “soon”. You can goto a urgent care. I’d really like to see the doctor so I’ll be looking elsewhere because I was literally given no option of that.
Ruth CNP was so caring and professional and truly listened to my concerns. Being new to the area after being gone several years, finding a new health care provider can be difficult. The whole staff was very friendly and professional.
My kids see desiree hauenstein. I love taking them to a doctor who really listens to what I have to say and works with me on getting the kids referrals.
I have a wonderful experience with Dr. Karhoff. She understands my concerns and answers all of my questions. I have been at her practice for over a year now and am so happy with the service that I switched my family to her practice as well. The staff is wonderful and the bedside manner and care are top notch!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
