List of Benita Petri Pickstone's Reviews
Very personal, expert care.
Best Doctor Ever Dr. Petri saw me 2 weeks ago. She is very knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. I had stomach problems for over 6 months and even the gastroenterologist couldn't treat me. She listen to me very well and prescribed me medications that really helped. I highly recommend her.
I thank God for the BEST Doctor for me! Dr. Benita Petri is a very caring and kindhearted person who actually listens and shows compassion for whatever issues you have. She’s wise enough to refer you to a specialist if there’s something beyond her realm of expertise. I completely trust her with my care!
Guess and medicate doctor. Useless. She doesn't have any standard of care. Avoid her at all costs unless you want to be given meds that won't help you for conditions you don't have.
I've been going to dr. Petrie for over 20 years she's best doctor ever been to i never had a problem with her
My doctor for many years. She has answered my questions/assisted me many times on MyChart. I would highly recommend. My scheduled appointments have been within 15 minutes. I would wait longer if needed (I appreciate her knowledge about my health issues).
To be honest, I do not make reviews. However with the horrible care I received I would like to make it known to others so they do not have to feel the way I did when I left this office. First, she did not take time to listen to me. I went to the office about depressive thoughts I’ve had, and she played it off as “well you’ve had it in the past”. I specially said I did NOT want on medication because I have been on it in the past, and have had bad experiences. And she still ended up prescribing the same medicine I had bad side effects with. She clearly did not listen. Second, not only is this Extremely rude and disrespectful, but just down right not okay. She literally ANSWERED HER PHONE during my appointment saying “sorry this is really important” and talked to a furniture company about a SECTIONAL COUCH. Right in the middle of me discussing the thoughts and feelings I’ve had. Way to make somebody feel like garbage. Third, her attitude and demeanor is unlike any other doctor I have ever been to. She is super sarcastic and acted as if my problem wasn’t real. And gave me “looks” when I would answer questions. She questioned me as to why I never finished college and extremely rude about the fact I didn’t receive a degree. Not to mention I currently make more now WITHOUT a degree than I would have as a nurse. But first off that is not her place to give me looks and be rude to me because I did not finish college. I do not believe a college degree makes you who you are. I know amazing, Godly people who have made the BIGGEST impact and dont have degrees. Who cares? It’s not her place to ask and then be demeaning. She scoffed at me when I told her I was not sexually active as if I was lying? I have nothing to hide. It was such a terrible experience. That’s just not okay. I have never understood how these people receive degrees.
After I was triaged, I was told by the Medical Assistant that Dr. Petri was with a patient and there was one before me. I waited 50 minutes and then asked the Medical Assistant on when I'll seen. The Medical Assistant walked into the room that Dr. Petri was in and told Dr. Petri that I inquired about when I will be seen. Dr. Petri replied "I'm on the damn phone, she needs to wait, I'll be there." I grabbed my belongings and told the Medical Assistance "she should have whispered" and I walked out. Avoid Dr. Petri if you can; surely not getting any patient-centered care from her.

Have seen her for 5 years. After waiting an hr. or more for every appt., She would spend 10 minutes, I generally felt worse when I left office due to non_caring comments that would be made. I told her how hard it was to move my mother into a memory care facility, her comment was "well we all have to do it"?? NO, NOT EVERYONE has to become a Guardian for a parent with DEMENTIA ,it truly is heartbreaking. I will be looking for another doctor, She was more concerned if I had insurance, even though I had financial aid, she'd drill me same questions everytime, Why don't you have it?, Why not through husband's employer? When will you have? That took up 3-4 minutes of my 10 min appts.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
