Jennifer Yee's Online Review Report Card

I’ve been Seeing Dr Yee for years and she has made a real improvement in my life.

Dr. Yee has been instrumental in my healing from gastritis. I went to her when I was at my worst about 3 years ago, when my regular MD had prescribed proton pump inhibitors (which I googled and didn't seem like something I wanted to take; didn't seem like a healthy option). By following the steps that Dr. Yee recommended I was absolutely pain free after about 4 months and could go back to eating and drinking just about everything except caffeine and alcohol. One day I had Earl Gray tea and had a relapse. So I went back on the diet that Dr. Yee recommended and healed in about 3 weeks. Recently, after at least 2 years of no pain, I had a little bit of Bailey's and Amaretto and had a relapse again. I'm following Dr. Yee's recommendations and am recovering again. She is a fantastic Dr. and I recommend her to everyone I know who is having health issues. She won't do lab work, so sometimes I'll go to my regular dr. to get lab work/diagnosis and then go to Dr. Yee for treatment since her methods are more natural (compared to MD's), and seem healthier for my body. Anyway, go to her; she's awesome!

Dr Yee is extremely knowledgeable and is adept at using that knowledge to create individualised support. She is very thorough in asking questions and assessing my health as it changes. Every new thing I bring to her she has incredibly helpful answers for. Every suggestion has been successful in resolving my issues which have ranged from anxiety, to colds, to an ear infection, and even figuring out that I wasn't getting enough protein into my daily diet.

Personally, doctor Yee, although very friendly and approachable, Did not seem very helpful. No prior testing was done, the meetings were quick and all she would do would provide supplements which again are useless if no prior testing is done. Her communication is great but knowledge is poor.

She's great. Kind and not awkward to talk to at all (remember that time you found mucus in your excrement? yeah no worries (also this website won't let you use the laymen's term for excrement in your reviews)). Educated in Canada, that's important to me. I personally love asking a billion questions then taking the box of supplements that others have prescribed over the years, dumping it out and asking what I should be taking and what not and how much, she is the most PATIENT PERSON EVER. Happy to explain the logic behind her thoughts or why something works how it does. Best of all, no weird side effects! She fixed things the MD's were gonna slice me open for - yay no exploratory surgery.

Dr Yee has vast knowledge. She is able to help with issues that other medicines cannot. Accuputure is addressing my hormonal issues. I feel positive and hopeful again. She speaks of other beneficial remedies in exercise such as tai chi, and naturopathic supplements. When I have questions after a treatment, she provides quick response to my emails. Dr Yee is flexible and bills only for the time actually spent on a naturopath appointment. My family has also seen her for various ailments over the years. Dr. Yee has been very knowledgeable and has helped my family and I in so many ways. I am grateful to know I have another option besides just the allopathic route.

I have been seeing Dr. Yee for years, have taken my children and parents to her as well. She is patient, understanding and extremely knowledgeable. I have seen her for fertility, during my pregnancies and I also went to her most recently for Lactation support as was having latch issue, and she is certified in lactation counselling! I am so comfortable with her and have 100% confidence in her knowledge, especially in women's health. I always feel so much better after a visit to Dr.Yee.

Wasn't helpful. Nice person but I'm surprised she's considered the best. I also expected more testing for my concerns. It felt like she was guessing.

Unfortunately, I did not have a great experience like everyone else here. I went to Dr. Yee because my hair was falling out and a really bad face rash. After the initial consult, Dr. Yee suspected that I had adrenal fatigue. I was placed on many supplements, including an adrenal extract supplement. I was taking it 3 times a day. After about 5 days, I was starting to have bilateral lower back pain. Dr. Yee suggested that I drop down to 2 times a day. I continued this for 1 month. Slowly as time went on, I developed gastro problems and then started to have sleep problems. It was all down hill after that. I have had the worst 6 months of my life since starting those supplements. I have major insomnia and my stomach is still a mess. I wish there would have been some testing done prior to the adrenal supplement diagnosis.
