Benjamin W. Burkett's Online Review Report Card

I broke my ankle at work in Feb. 2020. Dr. Burkett performed my ankle surgery and could have cared less about the pain I was in for over 5 mths. He also falsified his notes and stated I was only in pain in the am, this was a lie. The pain lasted all day and all night. Come to findout he caused nerve damage during the procedure. I assume that's why he didn't want to address the pain and just pretend like everything was fine. He also told me after 5 mths when the bone was fully healed that there was a piece of my bone he was unable to align correctly. I asked for him to show me where it wasnt aligned correctly and he refused to show me on xray where it was and said he'd rather just talk to me about it. He in return did not include this in his notes. This was a bwc case and I can't count how many weeks I'd go without therapy do to the office staff being to busy to file the correct paperwork in a timely fashion. So that, along with the unbareable pain I was in for over 5 mths delayed my healing process. Due to this being a bwc case and him falsifying medical records my 2nd opinion was denied and now I have to cover the medical expenses myself to get my ankle fixed correctly. I will never return to this office nor will I ever refer anyone to him. He seemed to only care about his pocket and not the patient. But hey on a positive note, its now been over a year and my new Dr showed me where my ankle isn't right and is working on a plan to repair Dr. Burkett's mistake. 0 stars all the way across the board

Every one was great. I called toMake an appointment got right in the next day. Dr. Burkett was super nice. His nurse did a really great job explaining things. Your office was easy to find. All in all it was a good experience.

I was very happy with Dr Burkett and the staff at the North Point clinic. The nurses were the best. Made me feel very welcome and in good hands. Overall very pleased with my results.

I had heard nothing but great things of Dr. Burkett . He’s done two different operations on me & I have no complaints as far as he’s concerned. He’s so compassionate & knowledgeable as a surgeon. I felt that he truly cared about my outcome.

Unprofessional. Spoke maybe 8 words to my brother and charged him 700 extra dollars for treatment he didn’t even receive and then did not even give him a splint to go home with, tried to charge him an extra 100 dollars on top of that to travel to Columbus to pick up the splint himself. No manipulation was done and my brothers arm was roughly handled and he left in more pain than he arrived in, no treatment and told to go get an MRI and come back. Would not recommend this office.

Takes the time to hear what you have to say, told me everything i needed to know.

I asked Dr Burkett if I should have surgery and he said I don't know should you? I asked if I should go for a MRI and he said you don't buy a map if you are not going to take a trip. Did not give an alternative plan of action. I feel much better after getting a stand up desk and elevating bed at night. Dr Burkett was rude. I would not refer anyone to make an appointment with him.

I had heard good things before that were confirmed once meeting him. He listened, provided feedback and explained why he couldn't answer certain questions. I would reccomend Dr. Burkett. I called a day later with a question and recieved an immediate answer. Wonderful concerned and kind staff.
