It broke my heart she left St. Louis. She delivered my twin boys! I wouldn't have made it with out her.

Dr. Alten was amazing. I miss her, but thankful she delivered both my children. The first obgyn that I have felt very comfortable. She is a friendly, bubbly person. Sad to see her move. The office was generally running late, but she always took the time to answer any concerns I may have had.

Rushed me and pressured me into paps

Terrible bedside manner. A family friend recommended her. Went to her 3 times before she left for Ohio. I have never had an abnormal pap so it is not necessary for me to get one every year. She pressured me into all of them. The last time I saw her, her hand was on the door handle as I was in the middle of a question. I have an extreme fear of doctors and she didn’t seem to give a damn about my mental issue. I later learned that doctors pressure women into paps because they profit off our humiliation. I would never recommend this woman to anyone.

Dr Alten was my OB for my second daughter. First was born out of state. She moved to Ohio right after I had my second baby and it broke my heart! I have never been as comfortable with a physician of any kind before. I was actually sad when I had the baby and wouldn't get to see her as frequently. She LISTENS, and she RESPONDS. Yes, she is a working mother of 5 and has an incredibly hectic schedule, and I never felt rushed. I always tried to make sure whatever questions I had I addressed with the Nurse Practitioners that I saw more frequently in the beginning, and anything they were unsure of they would consult with her about. Pretty standard for any doctor. My mom always said - don't be one of those people who take up an hour or more with questions that could easily be answered by an NP or a nurse who has a bit more flexibility in their schedule. That's what causes long wait times in the waiting room. Just sayin!

I was not impressed at all with Dr. Alten. She was constantly checking her watch during my visits and always seemed in a rush, so I never felt I was able take my time. It was my first baby so I had a lot of questions and she seemed condescending and I felt stupid for asking my questions. Terrible experience with the whole practice, and I would never recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Alten is amazing. Its been already 5 years for me but during my entire pregnancy back in 2013 she was amazing. It was my second c-section which I started to walk the next day and felt better every single day. Anytime I needed her to talk to or even anyone at the office I was able to reach and speak to someone. I promised her if I ever got pregnany again she would be my obgyn again. I did move from St.Louis to Miami FL but I do recommend Dr.Alten. Thank you Dr.Alten for everything. Elma

Alten failed my Nora who was born into heaven on May 20th 2018 @ 39 weeks!Alten didn’t take my concerns about my low amniotic fluid at 34 weeks when I told her about my first daughter and how I had to be induced because of my fluid she said “no two pregnancies are the same“ but mine were!She played god with my body and chose not to measure me and since my last ultrasound was Feb. 27th she had no way to know what my fluids were doing,so for almost 3 months Nora was not monitored. I had no fluid

night and day from prior experience to my experience with Dr. Alten. She is amazing. Down to earth. Calming... etc... she is great!

I LOVE Dr. Alton. She is so bubbley and amazing. She makes me feel super comfortable but it is nearly impossible to get ahold of anyone in that building. I was only hold all together for over an hour and they kept transferring me back and forth. The front desk person ended up transferring me to an answering machine and I just left a message. I’m still waiting for a call back. Not happy.
