I have been a patient of Dr.Kakarlapudi's for a few years now. And I don't recall ever actually getting to talk to him, besides the first appointment. Well I have been getting a CT scan every 6 months. When I got them at Clermont mercy the results didn't seem accurate. So I switched to U.C. Well 6months ago I looked at my results myself with U.C.'s mychart and they looked mostly bad to me. But someone from Kakarlapudi's office told me everything was OK. Well I just got back my most recent CT scan results and this time they look really bad. So if Dr.Kakarlapudi just has another receptionist call and tell me everything is fine and dandy then I will think I have entered the Twilight Zone. So if you want a doctor that never talks to you and explains anything then he may be right for you. But if you are concerned about your health then I would try another G.I.

I have been to other GI doctors and he is very attentive and caring. I would absolutely recommend him to my family and friends. I tend to be a bit sensitive and he was exactly what I needed while being scared about a procedure.

I was rather disappointed with Dr. Kakarlapudi. I had to do my own review of treatment protocols and rule outs to the point I was making recommendations for testing. I did think about reporting to the OH medical board in that I was so concerned with his competency. Additionally his rapport was lacking and he did not connect me with other services such as nutritionist, etc. He only focused on medications.

I think Dr Karkarlapudi is the best Endo Dr around very caring very knowledgeable and saved my life is truly a special Dr would recommend him to anyone who needs his specialty.
