Amy M. Byerly's Online Review Report Card

Had my first appointment with Dr. Byerly today. She was recommended from a friend. Dr. Byerly is compassionate, has a great personality and very knowledgeable.I highly recommend her.

She is very kind but never tested my hormone level before prescribing me hormones. This led to years of not receiving the correct hormones which has caused multiple issues and bone loss due to lack of testosterone. She should not guess at what hormones she thinks that you need. My fault for not insisting on testing but I put my trust in her instead, bad decision on my part. I have since had my hormones tested through a different doctor and my levels were way off because I was not taking the correct dosage while I was under her care.

I spent 5 mins going into detail about what I now know to be a bleeding condition and how I didn't know what was wrong with me. Amy completely ignored everything I said and just suggested I just keep trying a new form of birth control till something works. I feel completely blown off, ignored and rushed to pick a new medication. I demanded some form of testing. I was 23 at the time and had already been on multiple types of birth control and had out of control bleeding and pain. She sent me to get the testing I wanted. I got my results that I had VWB and never went back. It's scary to think how much longer it could have taken me to get diagnosed if I had not demanded testing. Thanks to her, I have a hard time believing that any doctor really cares about me. It took me 6 months to work up the courage to see a new doctor.

She was one of my favorite doctors. I unfortunately moved away but if I return she will be my doctor again.

Just started seeing Dr. Byerly; she is friendly, explains everything and make you comfortabe in her office. Nursing staff is great in all 3 locations. Just scheduled for my daughter to start seeing her as well. Staff quickly responds to messages and calls; they are flexible in rescheduling appointments.

Dr. Barely is very respectful, knowledgeable, quick with procedure! And funny. She's very relatable.

Dr Byerly is a very caring doctor, who cares about your wellbeing. I have seen Dr. Byerly for routine medical care for years and she has been very pleasant and caring. I will completely recommend her. Dr Byerly always inquiries about any other concerns I may have and advises me accordingly.

I would recommend that you find another physician. She treats everything as a bacterial infection and prescribes Clindesse every time I go in, before she sees any test results. I just received a call from the office where the nurse told me that I was positive for 2 different things, even though the results that were emailed yesterday were negative. She was offering to call in prescriptions for medications that I don't need! I would definitely NOT recommend this office.

I do not recommend this office or provider. Lacks order and professionalism. To get an appointment was quick but everything else lacked greatly. No follow up after testing yet got billed promptly. Tried to get results which took over one month to get - kept being told to use the portal but received no information on portal. Office Manager never returns calls. Dr Byerly came into room for about 5 minutes total. Felt like a number - bedside manner lacked. I asked what about my fibroid, which is growing according to testing from family doctor, and she stated you probably won't have any problems with it and never checked it. Then I find out after I paid account over phone, and money was taken out, months later they sent acct to collections. Stay far away unless you know someone who works there or are related to someone who works there.

First off, her staff is horrible. It's apparent that they couldn't care less about their jobs. I scheduled an appointment with them and they STILL haven't gotten back to me. And when it comes to bedside manner, they are flat-out rude. As for the doctor? It's very clear that she doesn't care about your wellbeing. She never asked about how I was or if I was having any issues with my health. Not to mention, it seems like she just wants to do the bare minimum and send you on your way. And to top it all off, she cancels my prescription without even telling the pharmacist. Don't go to this doctor. EVER.
