Linda E. Odenigbo's Online Review Report Card

We went to see Dr Odenigbo for a well visit for our child. After the visit, we got a bill. I called the billing office and found out that we were charged for something that we should not have been. I discussed with the billing rep that a well visit should be covered at 100% (per my ins company), and asked that the claim is resubmitted. The next month I got a reminder call for one of my other daughters' appointments, so we go in for the appt. After checking in, we are told that the appt was canceled it because we were dismissed from the practice. This was also during the COVID pandemic, they dropped my entire family JUST over questioning a bill! Also, they called the Primary care office where my husband and I go to and asked them if they wanted to drop us as well. Luckily, our Primary care did NOT elect to drop us as well. Actually, they thought it was ridiculous that children would be dismissed from a practice over a question about a bill.

Had my less than 1 year old son in to see Dr Odenigbo 4 times in 6 weeks for breathing problems. Not a single X-ray was ordered. She said his lungs were clear, yet his breathing continued to get worse. At his last appointment with her she ordered a deep suctioning machine!!! Without knowing what it would be suctioned out!!! There were no secretions! No coughing! I sought a second opinion at urgent care where the first thing they did was get an X-ray. He had a foreign object stuck in his throat. 4 hours in surgery and some scar tissue later he then required breathing medication due to the scar tissue’s narrowing of his trachea, where it was not needed prior. Never went back. Beware!

What was a routine physical for my children turned into a bunch of upcoding that my insurance company wouldn't cover at 100%. She would casually make an observation and ask a question, which I would answer, not realizing that by answering her questions, I would be billed for the answers. She won't be seeing my children again.

Dr. “O” is one of best pediatric doctors around. She is a God sent blessing to every child and family who has the opportunity to be her patient. She is the most caring, concerned, thoughtful and most definitely thorough doctor I know. She is not only concerned about children’s physical health, but their mental health and stability as well. I wish that I could find a family physician for adults just like her! 12/18/2020

If there was an option to give negative 5 stars I would. She was very rude, judge mental, and unprofessional.

Very dismissive of parent’s concerns.

I do like Dr. O, she knows her facts, even though she's engaging and pays attention to details. Dr. O is also condescending at times and has a way of making patient and parent feel a bit uncomfortable if you aren't compliant to what she says to do. The staff is very friendly and inviting, except for the ladies who check you in, but checking out is a very welcomed and different experience. The lady who checks you out always makes you feel like she appreciates your business. Dr. Horn is the absolute best, he's informative and makes sure that his patients and parents are comfortable and leaves the office well informed. I'm soo sad that he's retiring.

I'm 25 now and felt compelled to leave a review for Linda because I heard her name recently and it occurred to me that people are still probably taking their children to this woman. When I was young, she was absolutely horrible to me. She used to be nice and fine when my mom would come to appointments with me, but when I learned to drive and would go to appointments on my own, she started to become very nasty and rude to me for no reason other than that my mom wasn't there. I don't want to get into the details of it on an internet review, but Linda also made me cry at one point, and she really had a big impact on how I now feel about Doctors or going to see them. There are so many wonderful pediatricians in the area, please just take your child to someone else.

Family members of mine have been seeing Dr.O for 20+ years and now take their children to her. My children have been seeing her for years also. She is receptive to concerns, caring, thorough, and very quick to respond to concerns, request for referrals, request for prescriptions and records. The office has pretty late hours and is very quick to get Children in for Sick child visits (always same day or next morning). The other doctors in the office are also great and if Dr. O is not available to see them on short notice, they are still in good hands. I would highly recommend this doctor to anyone who needs a good pediatrician.
