Donald Hackenberg's Online Review Report Card

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR! DO NOT TRUST THIS DOCTOR WITH CARE FOR YOUR CHILDREN! HIMSELF AND HIS IGNORANCE NEEDS REPORTED. Pay close attention to the negative reviews. He will waste you and your child's time with rushing through barely examining, and purposely misdiagnose acting like your child has nothing wrong going on, just to leave your child sick and suffering . The negative reviews aren't lies. Sad that we're not the only ones who've had this mistreatment. A wolf in sheep's clothing.

Dr. Hakcenberg is very kind and you can tell he loves kids. He always does a thorough check up and gives you plenty of information. He addresses all your concerns promptly and professionally. I can always get in for a same day visit when my kids are ill. He also calls personally with important test results. I tried at one point to change pediatricians due to the long drive we had to make with our new house, but that lasted one visit at another office. We decided to make the drive to see him because he is that great of a doctor.

Wonderful experience with Dr. Hackenberg today! We have seen Dr. Hackenberg a few times in the past at Childrens Medical group, but was honestly SO appreciative we had him for a visit today. I was very concerned about abnormal bruising on my son and a few other symptoms that would worry any mother. As soon as Dr Hackenberg came in the room he understood my worries without alarming my son, and was both friendly, reassuring and ordered STAT testing right away. He told me exactly when we would be called, the testing that would be done and even asked how I would prefer the news to be given. He reassured he would call me himself and he DID. Luckily the testing was good for us today but his approach and manner is what impressed me most. I will recommend Dr Hackenberg to anyone. His ability to handle serious concerns is excellent! Thank you!

Terrible experiences with Dr. Hackenberg. Was interrogating me about why I was waiting on having my 13 yr old son get the HPV vaccine. Made me think he is getting kickbacks $$. Made my other child cry the first time ever seeing Dr. Hackenberg because of struggles with weight. NEVER going back!

He was arrogant and mean spirited. Made my son cry about his weight the first time he ever saw him as a patient. Treated my husband & I (separate visits) like we knew nothing about our children or their health. He might be ok with babies but terrible with kids over 10!

I was very impressed with Dr. Hackenberg. He was very easy to talk to and took the time to answer many of my questions for my Nephew. I Felt very comfortable with his diagnosis and would highly recommend Dr. Hackenberg to my friends.

Been a great pediatrician to both my boys for 15 years.

Dr. Hackenberg is absolutely wonderful, I would highly recommend him. His office staff, however, is ATROCIOUS! We call to get prescriptions refilled and they never follow through. Call back, because they WON'T call you, are told they are ready, go to pick them up and it's not ready. Have talked to the office manager twice, Sherry, about both instances and all she can say is I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. They WON'T even try to help solve the problem. Changing doctors now after 18 years.
