We have seen many of the doctors at Akron Childrens in Hudson, and they are all good, but Dr. Whisenant has been the best with our children. He has a calming presence and he narrates and explains what he is doing, which helps distract my kids during the appointment. He is thorough with his exams and he has a calming presence.

We absolutely love Dr. Whisenant! He is very attentive, compassionate, and an all around great guy and doctor. We have a daughter with special needs and Dr. Whisenant always takes the time to answer all of our questions and makes sure our daughter has everything she needs.

First time Ari seen him was today, he was very calm and patient, interactive and took the time to let my daughter get use to him and any items he needed to check her with, and was very thorough and didn't seem rushed! New favorite pediatrician by far
