List of J. Wesley Halderman's Reviews
I have been on of Dr. Halderman's patients for almost 10 years. I find him to be a good listener, a pleasant person, and an up-to-date and open minded practitioner.
Doctor Halderman is a fantastic physician and an even better person. Kind, compassionate, and truly invested in the well being of his patients. I cannot recommend him enough for your family’s needs. His staff are also very helpful and courteous, there hasn’t been a time where they couldn’t assist or at least point me in the right direction.
Awesome Doctor and staff are super helpful
I am happy with my now doctor after switching from doctor Susan B Jordan. She is very rude and does not care about the wellness of her patients. Every time I go in there even just for a cold , it never fails that she will tell me the reason I’m sick is bc I am over weight. I also went for some womanly business and when I asked for a sheet to cover up with and told her I felt exposed and uncomfortable she told me I would be fine and forcefully pushed my legs open. I find that completely unprofessional and something someone should never do. And I went to school for nursing and am aware of the correct kind of doctor and patient relationship. I hope eventually they get rid of her, that would make them a much better office.
He's a wonderful person. He has excellent beside manners. He cares for his patients genuinely. I'd recommend him as a physician to anyone of any age.
Upon the retirement of our family doctor of 20 years, the transition to Dr. Halderman has been seamless. He is very caring and thorough, personable, and knowledgeable. My husband and I trust him with our medical needs. We are very fortunate to have such a great practice in Xenia.
I see Dr. Halderman in the Xenia office. He is very compassionate, friendly, and helpful. Always listens to your concerns and takes appropriate action. Highly recommend his office!
Dr. Halderman has been a great doctor for my elderly father! My dad's long-term doctor retired, and finding a new doctor who is bright, insightful, and invested is not a quick process. Dr. Halderman is all of this, as well as caring and helpful. His communications both in the office and on-line are excellent and prompt. My father has been under Dr. Halderman's care for 15 months, and came to him just after a health crisis with a number of aspects to be evaluated. The doctor spent an appreciable, appropriate amount of time to discuss the issues of each visit, to offer explanations, and to answer questions. He helped my father by facilitating a tricky diagnosis and treatment for a serious problem that has plagued him for years, and which was degrading his health. My father's health has turned around because of this. Dr. Halderman also does a laudable job of walking a line between dealing with a capable, but elderly, patient and his need for independence and privacy, and working with the family to provide information and support for the patient.
My whole family goes to him, I wouldn't trust anyone else. He is a very compassisonate, and understanding, and he listens to me! Excellent Doctor, I highly recommend him, to anyone ,who needs a good doctor in this area
I went to this doctor for an initial visit with my new insurance, to refill my prescriptions. He was very rude and patronizing to me because I am overweight. I told him I am aware of this fact, but do not request further information at this time. He became confrontational and unprofessional. He asked if I know anything about nutrition and if I just eat "whatever I want, whenever I want." It was an insult to my intelligence. I informed him that I am well researched on various diet fads and trends. He said that taking me as a patient was a risk to him, because I could reflect poorly on his reputation. He then asked if I needed a different doctor. I didn't change doctors right away lest I be cheated out of my copay and not get my prescriptions. I have since changed doctors, of course, but I want to warn others that this doctor comes across more as a scrawny arrogant kid green out of school, rather than a competent healthcare professional.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
