List of Thomas L. Brunsman's Reviews
Dr. Brunsman has cared for me and my family for many years. He kindly cared for my mother while dying with cancer. During many difficult times of sickness, Dr. Brunsman has cared for me and even come to my home on his day off when I couldn't get to him...that was over a year's period of time. God brought him into our lives and we are grateful. I still struggle physically, but I am comforted that he is there and that he is kind, competent and caring.
Wrong diagnosis and arrogant attitude
Dr. Brunsman is a great doctor. He is very personable and easy to talk to. He is very knowledgeable and keeps current on medical trends. I've been a patient of his for several years now. He always fits me in when I call and listens to my concerns. He also answers my questions, which I've found to be rare in today's medical practice. I drive quite a distance since moving, but will be keeping him as my family practitioner.
The Dr seems to only care about his own preference, not what's in the best suitable health options for the patient, did not talk to me at all about my diagnosis or prescription, refused to prescribe medications that I used to take for health reasons only because he didn't feel the need, he even forgot to write me a note for release to work frand to argue with meom a physical which was the main purpo just go back and see him only to be refused therapy
He does seem to care about you but not if your depressed it is all about the relationship with God and not about the chemistry in your brain. thinks all medication works same as far as depression medication some works better than others for some people He needs to learn the difference b/w fibromyalgia and myofacial pain syndrom which I was told i have by a physiatrist and Dr B charted fibromyalgia several times instead of the myofacial pain syndrom. I have to remind him what it is since he seems to clump it all into fibromyalgia. They are very different MFPS is more specific Fibro is very wide spread head to toe. He is not able to assess muscle pain very well and bearly touches the area so how he assesses it is beyond me. And now he is on this kick of #of medications and will not RX pain medication acording to your pain just what he is willing to give you. Whether your in pain or not he doesn't care. Whether one tablet works or not he doesn't care and doesn't know how to ask appropriate pain questions: How, Where, When, How strong, does it move anywhere, and more important what works what have you tried etc. Does not care that you are in pain when you try to exercise or more important after you exercise or whether you can sleep or not b/c of the pain. He talks alot and is nice but doesn't always address the problem or doesn't ask how your problem is affecting you. Which is why he is there right?

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
