Dr. Calvo is one of the greatest doctors. I had a rare form of cancer and he pulled me through it. He never rushes you and always ask if you have any questions for him. My daughter wasn't with me at my first visit and came with me the second one. He sat down and explained everything he told me. My whole family thinks he's the greatest.

We no longer see Dr Calvo. I have a rare cancer and after visiting two other name cancer centers I have found that Dr Calvo’s information on the Standard of Care” is more than 2 years out of date. I understand that it is very difficult to be an expert on everything! But this is MY LIFE and he should have referred me to someone more knowledgeable or done some research. I do not recommend Dr Calvo to anyone. His ego gets in the way!

Dr Cavl took care of my late husband 11 yrs ago. He is the best in his field,. thank you again for everything you did for Anthony (Tony) Snyder Sr. He was in the best hands.

In 2007 I had a roux-n-y gastric bypass surgery. I was encouraged to take zinc supplements for life. In Mar 18, I landed in the E.R. with acute anemia. Dr. Calvo, thinking I had pre-leukemia, ordered a bone marrow biopsy. I do not have leukemia, instead I have critical zinc poisoning which caused a total life threatening erosion of my copper levels. All such surgical patients should have their zinc levels monitored! Dr. Calvo saved my life. See further comments submitted to Dr. Calvo.

My mom ended up with Dr Calvo after her dr went on maternity leave. We never even considered going back to other dr. My mom was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer with brain metastasis. We could not have asked for a better dr or treatment plan

Dr. Calvo was recommended to me by a friend who was a home healthcare nurse. She said all of her cancer patients raved about him and now I can see why. He takes time to answer your questions and doesn't treat your case with a cookie cutter approach. Each patient is different and special.

I met Dr. Calvo when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had read about new testing and lots of questions. He took time to answer all my questions and was up to date on the latest research. He truly cares about his patients and things that are happening in their lives. His calming manner made me more at ease in a scary situation. I highly recommend Dr. Calvo! I no longer have to see him regularly but I know if I have any questions he will bet there to answer them. He is the best!
