Dr. Hellan was very good to our family and my mother before her Whipple procedure. I’m giving the low rating because of what happened after. She performed surgery on her and was not able to get the tumor out. We were told it was just absolutely not possible for it to come out and the recommendation was radiation to shrink it as much as possible and to just live out the rest of her life which would ...

Dr. Hellan is extremely diligent, professional and quite a good communicator. She performed a robotic colon surgery and had me out of the hospital is less then a day. I completely trust her decisions and highly recommend.

Dr. Hellan did not recommend surgery. Instead she said that chemo and radiation were preferable to surgery that would leave me with a colostomy. I followed her advice and am now almost 4 years in remission. She follows me with check-ups & is always smiling and upbeat. If my cancer would return and I would need surgery, I would surely choose her.

Dr. Hellan cares about her patients in both the surgery and the office visits. She tells it like it is and answers all pertinent questions no matter how busy she maybe. She performed surgery and I had absolutely no side issues. She made sure to explain the procedure and what should be the outcome. She is very skilled at robotic sugerry.

Dr. Hellan, is an accomplished surgeon and skilled with robotics. The team of surgeons performed an intricate and complicated procedure utilizing expertise of three surgeon working collaboratively using robics and tradional techniques to cure stage 4 cancer in my brother. She is a great oncology sugeon and her caring come through.
