Dr Gorman is a good Dr but the staff is rude and inept. There are too many incidents to name here but my daughter really needed the surgery so I stuck it out. If I had it to do over I would find another doctor because the frustration the staff causes is not worth it.

He operated on me in a emergency situation. L3-L4 collapse on the nerve. He was honest informing and did a great job I would highly recommend him and his team.

I HAD NON INVASIVE SPINE SURGERY, HAD ANOTHER AMAZING DR. On Kettering hospital team but decided to go with DR. RICHARD GORMAN BECAUSE OF HIM DOING MY SURGERY A LITTLE DIFFERENT. SEEN HIM IN HIS OFFICE ORDERED ALL KINDS OF TEST RELATED TO MY CONDITION HAD CONSULTED WITH ME SEVERAL TIMES!! VERY HONEST AND UP FRONT. ANOTHER AMAZING DRS. THAT GOD HAS PUT IN MY LIFE!! SO CARING, KIND, COMPASSIONATE AND IS TO ME A MIRACLE WORKER!! HIS TEAM IS AMAZING, I FEEL SO MUCH BETTER!! AND I THANK DR. RICHARD GORMAN FIRST OF ALL AND THEN HIS AMAZING TEAM THAT WORK TO HELP ME BE RELIEVED OF YEARS OF SEVERE CERVICAL SPINAL STENOSIS. STILL CHECKING ON ME AND MAKING SURE, I AM FOLLOWING UP ON WHAT I AM SUPPOSED TO DO. THANK YOU DR. GORMAN MY QUALITY OF LIFE IS BETTER BECAUSE OF GOD PUTTING YOU IN MY LIFE!! I WILL RECOMMEND THIS DR. TO EVERYONE I KNOW THAT ARE HAVING BACK PROBLEMS!!

Dr Richard Gorman Jr performed a serious spinal operation on my back eight months ago and I am extremely pleased with the results. Kettering Brain and Spine and Dr Gorman provided excellent expert training and advice concerning what I needed to do to prevent re-injury to my back during the extended recovery period. I am very grateful to both Dr Gorman and Kettering Brain snd Spine!

I have been to Dr Gorman only once - for chronic lumbar pain - but will not hesitate to return, or to recommend him. I have been in healthcare for over 35 years, and am not an 'easy' patient because I have more relevant knowledge than the average patient, and have seen my share of bad medicine as well. That said, I found Dr Gorman to be exceptional. The best way I can describe his style is "collaborative", and focused upon solving the problem. . . not just going through the motions. This is in direct contrast with the style of many surgeons, who - intentional or not - can come across as quite condescending. The meds that he has prescribed have finally allowed to function nearly pain-free, and to sleep well at night again. If I do eventually need surgery to resolve my lumbar pain, I will have complete confidence in Dr Gorman to do the job. He inspires real confidence.
