List of Safwat K. Zaki's Reviews
Bad in both levels practicing and communicating
Seemed irritated having to deal with me. No humor, I was given orders to have my PSA drawn then would not see me. Had another appointment 5-6 months later. I found a wonderful, caring, professional urologist in the interim that interacted. That actually had, and has live visits with and corrected a problem. That had been a traumatic procedure performed by Safwat Zaki. Surprisingly I can’t imagine all the 5 star reviews.
Dr Zaki is great and has a great bedside manner and very professional even in awkward situations. I would recommend him for sure
I faced the news that I had prostrate cancer. I can share that Dr. Zaki saved my life. His skill and results with me were incredible. I started to write a book about the experience to help others. The title would be "Dr. Zaki and Me". Let me be clear choose wisely and consider this Dr. is one of the best. At my darkest moment he took the time to pray with me. I will be forever grateful to him.
Would not recommend going here ...If you do, definitely get a second opinion... This place should not be allowed to treat people.
I went to Dr Zaki on a referral from my family doctor. I was experiencing a recurring pressure/pain in my lower abdominal region. This had gone on for a number of years. After an initial consultation, Dr Zaki scheduled several tests. As a result of the tests, Dr. Zaki prescribed a medication he believed would help with my episodes. That was six months ago. In that time, I have not had a single episode during a time of the year in which I would have expected at least one if not more episodes. Have not felt this good in a number of years.
I went to Dr Zaki on a referral from my family doctor. I was experiencing pain/pressure in my lower abdominal region. At times, this pain would become significant even somewhat debilitating. After an initial consult, Dr. Zaki scheduled a second visit for several tests. Based on the results of the tests, Dr. Zaki prescribed a medication he believed would help with my discomfort and pain. Since I began my prescription, I have not had an episode. That is now six months during a time of the year in which I would normally have experienced at least one if not more episodes in the past. I am very satisfied with Dr Zaki's handling of my case.
Dr. Zaki is an exceptional person. He is kind and considerate and I know that he genuinely cared about me and my outcome. Through the tests, MRI, biopsy and surgery, he explained everything in detail, to the point of sketching things out on paper. He explained all the results, all the options and answered all my questions. Without hesitation I would recommend him. In-person and through the My-Chart portal, Nurse Jessica and Nurse Meaghan are just as great and supportive. Not once over the last ten months have I been disappointed (other than the diagnosis). All of my needs were met and expectations exceeded from early stages of suspicion to diagnosis to surgery. His office staff is just as diligent and friendly. Scheduling was a breeze and they worked with my health insurance company and my short term disability provider seamlessly. I don’t recall being involved in paperwork once I provided them the initial information. The Kettering hospital is just as great. The staff from the pre-surgery team to the surgery recovery wing are equally professional despite me being a fairly difficult patient. If Dr. Zaki is running behind, it is very likely because he is taking the time to ensure the patient prior leaves with full understanding of their situation; giving them the same time, effort and compassion he and his staff will extend to you. I highly recommend him. Update July 1 2022 As they say, ‘the proof is in the pudding’. Here are my pre and post Dr. Zaki PSA results. march 8 2018 3.0 ng/ml sept 11 2018 2.7 apr 29 2019 3.6 nov 5 2019 3.9 may 15 2020 4.6 (received cancer diagnosis) Surgery by Dr. Zaki in October 2020 Post surgery psa results (undetectable): march 8 2021 <.1ng/ml July 19 2021. <.1ng/ml Dec 6 2021. <.1ng/ml June 15 2022 <1ng/ml
I have been seeing Dr. Zaki for 2 - 3 years and I was having problems urinating, which was also causing Kidney problems. Dr. Zaki suggested that I have a Cystoscopy Transurethral Resection of my Prostate to reduce it's size, which would help me to urinate easier. He performed the surgery in February of 2022 and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. My PSA was over 7 prior to my surgery and is now just over 1 per my last blood work in July of 2022. Dr. Zaki is very pleasant and will take the time to answer any questions or concerns you may have and I highly recommend Dr. Zaki.
I don’t know Dr. Zaki, my appointment was arbitrarily changed by his lying minion. I called my health provider and asked them to recommend another doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
