List of Lakewood Urgent Care's Reviews
Friendly staff. Super clean facility. Doctor treats patients like people, not numbers. Takes the time to explain your condition. Lucky to have this place on the west side!
Not sure what everyone's griping about. Everyone was very friendly and I was in and out.
Beware, Dr. Holly is a miserable human being (there are better words to describe her but I'll keep it g-rated for Google) that cuts your off while talking and rushes you out of the office without taking your concerns seriously. Avoid at all costs.
I have visited this urgent care twice recently and my first experience was great, but after my second visit tonight I will likely go elsewhere. Both doctors I saw were great - but the experience I had with the reception staff today was the most frustrating experience I have had in a long time. When I entered in the lobby I was asked to sign in and was told to have a seat, that there were a few people in front of me. The lobby had about 5 people already, so I understood there would a wait. People continue to come in after me and eventually they start to tell people entering that they can’t take anyone else for the day, so again I think it’s taking a while, but makes sense as to why I am waiting so long. After waiting over an hour 2 separate people are called back that I was positive arrived and checked in after me, so I went back up to the desk. The receptionist looked at me as if she hadn’t seen me before, even though I had been sitting in a lobby, right in front of her, the entire time. She asked me if I checked in, and I responded yes and provided the name of the person ahead of me. She never checks the sign in sheet, just asks for my info and tells me I’ll be next. Not once did she apologize or even acknowledge her mistake to me. Being “next” resulted in another half a hour wait in the lobby before being taken back. When I finally saw the doctor I did bring up my concern and they offered their apologies and said they would address it, but honestly, I would have much more appreciated the acknowledgment from the staff member who made the mistake and in the moment it happened.
Dismissive and judgemental... clearly they showed their emotions on their faces
They helped me get in and out at my visit
This place is horrible! The other day I pinched my pinky finger in a door and dislocated it. It sounds more painful than it actually was. I figured I’d have it checked out. After and X-ray both the physician and the radiologist didn’t find any signs of a fracture. When I went to work the next day I was barely there for an hour before I had shooting pain all down the side of my hand. I went to an orthopedic office that same day. Not only was there a fracture, there was serious soft tissue damage as well. Not to mention the fracture wasn’t even hairline! No excuse for multiple doctors missing A HUGE fracture like that. Do yourself a favor, don’t go. Don’t make the same mistake I did.
Today , June 26th I went to get my foot looked at . Waited almost a hour in the waiting area for them to tell me I have to go somewhere else because they didn’t a person to do xrays . But why have me wait a hour for them to tell me that & tell me to go to another urgent care or hospital. The lady at the desk told me that and was very rude to me while saying it
Dr. Young is very knowledgeable and experienced. His bedside manner is excellent as well.
I have never been this place without being turned away. Why is this place even open? I took my child today,he was feeling dizzy. Oh sir we can't help you blah blah blah. RIDICULOUS. They will accept you if you are a drunk addict.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
