While I never dreamed I’d need an Oncologist in my early 40s, I am so very grateful to have such a wonderful caregiver. Dr Higgins is knowledgeable, thorough and has a wonderful bedside manner (listens, counsels, is sensitive). What a gem!

The facility wastes your time by having the patient arrive a half hour ahead of the appointment even though check on takes 2 minutes. With doctors alway being late that means you will waste at least 45 minutes. Then for pain that was not helped with 6 weeks of PT the prescription for chronic pain is do home pt since it never helped any way, and take 2 Aleve. Translated: take two aspirin and call me in the morning.

Maybe God tested him as a doctor and one day he will collect all that he has done with his patients and will determine how he will be treated as a patient one day

If you or a loved one must see an Oncologist, I am sorry you have to go through cancer. Know that you will receive excellent care at CVH under the direction of Dr Higgins He has years of education and experience; I feel 100% confident in what he recommends and have complete and total trust in him. He will give you info, test results, plan of care etc., in a calm, straight forward manner and delivers difficult to hear news in the kindest way possible. Audrey, primary care RN for Dr Higgins, is also excellent, kind and caring. Dr. Higgins is busy, but is always willing to answer my questions, even when I have asked them before. (During COVID, getting info alone without my husband with me, I know I asked the same questions repeatedly). Never have I felt rushed during appointments and I appreciate that so very much. In addition to being, one of the best Oncologists you will find clinically, Dr Higgins is also a very good person with an exceptional bed side manner. I am grateful that I was assigned Dr. Higgins as my Oncologist.

Dr. Higgins was fabulous with my mum. She recently passed away at age 91. Dr. Higgins always made my mum feel like a million bucks complimenting her with such a caring, kind, cheerful attitude. He always acted like it was his own mum. Wonderful manner with seniors with cancer. Bev Brown Clowns at Party California .

The best doctor with the best staff. Fortunate people get treatment from this wonderful, full of knowledge and dedicated to his work and humble doctor. Though my 19 Y old daughter couldn't survive but he did his best as doctor and human being. I wish no one go through this disease and see oncologist in his/her life.
