I had a cancer taken off my arm. It was painless and is healing nicely. Dr. Geiss was very professional explained everything to me. Will continue to go there.

Nearly 2 years of rashes coming and going. Appointments, bloodwork and multiple biopsies. Multiple topical prescriptions. No diagnosis and no resolution. I went to someone else (at Oakview) and at the first appointment (based on testing I already had and clinical presentation), she diagnosed the rash and provided me with a topical prescription that cleared it up within a couple days. I felt that the doctor at Barrett & Geiss was condescending….often not sharing details, assuming I wouldn’t understand. He did a punch biopsy without explaining what it was and what he was about to do (didn’t mention that I would be returning to have stitches removed until the end of the appointment). It was also sometimes difficult to get an appointment. I had a follow-up appointment canceled by the office. A few weeks later I called to reschedule (and the rash was active and causing problems) and they could only schedule me a month out. I called another office and they got me in as a new patient in less than a week.

Dr. Geiss is a Professional and an excellent dermatologist. He provides great care, direction and is highly skilled.

Excellent bedside manner. Takes the time to talk to me and explain procedures. Sends biopsy report to home. I feel he has genuine concern for myself and his other patients. I find his office staff is harried and not very friendly. Felt like I was being talked down to. Nursing staff is quite the opposite. Very friendly and willing to make me feel relaxed.

The Doctors, direct Nursing staff, and office manager are all great. The issue really is around the other office staff. The customer service is almost hostile. I would love to have the discussion with the doctor about his staff. Their phone system almost never work properly and either rings busy or no one ever answers. When you get a prescription filled the call in a perscription and do not let you know when it has been done or if it has been done. There are many other things but definitely not customer focused.
