List of Marilyn Kosier's Reviews
Extremely slow office!! You must plan 1.5-2 hours or if you're day for a 10 minute examination. Mainly because Dr. Kosier talks her head off to every patient about things that are completely not health related. The way I know this is because every time I've been there, I can hear her entire conversation with the patient in the next room. She is sometimes friendly but very brash. For the most part she's rude and overtalks you. The staff is nice but in general the office as a whole acts very condescending, which is a trickle down from the doctor's behavior.
Thorough, not rushed. Competent
Dr. Kosier and her staff are top notch. Her exams are very thorough. She is the most personable doctor I have ever seen and have been completely satisfied with her care. Her staff is courteous and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this practice.
I can’t say enough about Dr. Kosier and her staff. When my husband and I walked into the office her staff immediately greeted us and quickKy completed necessary paperwork. We found Dr. Kosier to be skilled, efficient and she answered all our questions. What I appreciated the most was how much time Dr. Kosier spent with us, she or her staff never tried to hurry us up like so many others. I highly recommend this practice. A side note, she was recommended by one of the top eye surgeons in Columbus, Ohio.
This doctor seems competent, but she is so rude. At first I thought it was just me until I heard her talking to the old gentleman in the next room.
My wife had both her eyes done for cateracts. No problems. Last year she had redness around her eyes. Wifes family dr recommended to go back to Dr. Kosier. She did and Dr. kosier prescribed a $300 eye ointment. After consulting with her family dr again. He sent us back for another scrpt which for $175. This time wife went to my dr. and he gave her a $4 script which cleared it up in a couple days.
If it were possible to rate a zero, I would. Equipment seemed ancient compared to my former eye doctor in Columbus. Looked for reasons to increase her billing trying to make a condition out of nothing. Ran unnecessary tests without consent, for which she charged a lot. Then tried to sell me product for a non-existent condition. Won't refund billing for unnecessary tests after I complained that I should make the decision to run a test or not as I am the one who pays. Using her medical license to scam patients.
Amazing and Terrific! She and her staff are wonderful!
My husband had surgery in Jan. 2016. He just had surgery 3 days ago by a specialist in Columbus to repair what she did not. I don't recommend this doctor.
I would not recommend her at all. She was very rude, told him if if didn't hold still, he should not have come in. He has extremely light sensitive eyes and when he said he preferred his eyes not to be dilated, she insisted. He said he just really wanted to leave. Gave him a lecture on quitting smoking the whole time. If you want a free smoking cessation while getting your eyes checked, go here.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
