On Monday afternoon I took my grandson to his primary care's office and he was then transferred to the FMC ER by squad. When I arrived, 3 nurses were attending to him and one of the nurses who was attending was very rude no matter how polite and helpful I tried to be. After giving them detailed information about my grandson, my phone was about to die. I alerted one of the nurses that I had to go to my car. It was very cold that night so I got in my car. I had been up since late Saturday night/Sunday morning monitoring his oxygen saturation, his blood pressure and heart rate. I was exhausted and beginning to get sick myself. Not meaning to, I fell asleep. BANG! BANG! BANG! JOLTED ME AWAKE! THERE STOOD THAT SAME RUDE NURSE BANGING ON MY WINDOW AND YELLING " WHAT ARE YOU DOING OUT HERE! YOU CAN'T LEAVE HIM ALONE IN HIS ROOM! HE HAS RIPPED OUT HIS IV'S AND HIS MONITORS! GET BACK IN THERE " As I processed what had just happened, she and her side kick hurried back in the hospital. As I returned to the room, 2 police entered the room and began questioning me as if I had committed a crime! I quickly put them in check by asking which one of them had a non-verbal autistic child that was sick and slept very little. No longer was the care of my grandson at the forefront! I will never ever set foot in an ER such as FMC nor will anyone of my friends or family members! They have lost sight of what their main purpose is to be- care for the sick and critically ill; not make assumptions and false judgements! Had I been 20 years younger, that nurse would have become a patient! Not all African Americans are thugs on drugs! Thank your stars nothing happened to my grandson while they took it upon themselves to patrol the parking lot! If you are seriously as ill as my grandson is,who remains at Children's Hospital where he IS getting quality care as I write this a week later, PLEASE BYPASS THAT JOKE OF A HOSPITAL!

No one here cares about anyone but themselves. Don’t waste your time.

If you want to die then come on over! The staff will NOT care about your well being nor will they take you seriously.

I had lab work done in January 2022. I was not contacted regarding billing until late October 2022, and the contact was via text. When I contacted billing, I was told they sent two statements, neither of which was received. The billing person also said they were making changes in their processes. This has been going on for multiple years, not just recently. Go somewhere else for care!

Horrible they had my friend wait hours and the sortie and nurses were laughing. Her child almost died… please don’t come here

The standard of care here is a fine line between negligence and garden variety incompetence. Undereducated staff are better versed in hospital policy by reciting the bare minimum of what is required of them than actual patient care. Very obvious cost cutting measures such as reduced doctor quality and consults, inadequate testing and lack of anything other than generic drugs make this the last place I trust. In fact, I wouldn't trust these people with my houseplants much less my well being. If you can wait another 45 minutes, drive to a real hospital in Columbus.

Jodi S. Who did a vein mapping ultra sound was extremely rude. Her attitude should get her fired immediately. Terrible to treat patients in this manner. Don’t go to this hospital.
