She was very nice took her time with me and told me I could come back anytime I felt like it to just call and make an appointment I was expecting the normal hello how r u look over my chart a little bit and rush through say she really didn't find anything on the x-rays that she looked at but arthritis and there was nothing more she could do for me cause she doesn't have enough documentation or evidence or test or proof and doesn't know what kind of arthritis I have and I expected that to be it and on to the next one but no she introduced herself wanted to know about me explained everything to me where I could understand and she was very nice and she said anytime feel free to make another appointment with her I really liked her that's the kind of doctor you want one that wants to get to know his patients and isn't just out to make money or to pay there child support or just going through the motions like it's a routine everyday

She barely examined me then acted like she was listening only to tell me that I have fibromyalgia because there’s nothing wrong with me and it’s all in my head. She couldn’t give me any decent explanations for all the obvious reasons it’s something physical other than ‘yeah my other fibromyalgia patients sometimes experience that’ and told me to exercise more. In other words she seems to make a habit of this with other patients and I’m not the first. She then prescribed me medication without telling me anything about it. I looked it up before taking it and it was an addictive and dangerous-with-alcohol medication that you can’t drive while on and she neglected to say any of these things. I’ve had to see loads of doctors since early childhood and I know red flags when I see them. Would not recommend her at all

Excellent timing. Dr Ott was able to see me promptly. I have full confidence in her diagnosis.

My wait time to see Dr. Ott was 3 1/2 months. I saw an assistant??first for a short question and answer period. Following an hour office wait the Dr. came in, spent 15 minutes or less offering the names of three surgeons in the Columbus area. There was no discussion, exam or medical advice. It was time wasted and a huge disappointment.

I have been seeing Dr. Ott for over 7 years now. She has been treating me for RA and Lupus. Dr. Ott is very compassionate and caring. She treats your disease and symptoms. An excellent listener.

I wasn't seen until an hour past my appointment time, meaning I sat in the waiting and exam room for a total of two hours. The doctor made me feel stupid when I answered her questions. I was there because I was told I had rheumatoid arthritis many years ago and have a lot of pain, but based upon my answers to her questions, she concluded that I don't have it. All I can say is I'm glad that since I supposedly don't have anything wrong with me so I will not have to return to this office and doctor.

I was miserable before Dr. Ott entered my life, and she has made my illness managable and made my life so much easier. She is caring and understanding, she listens to what you want and how you feel, she discuss the best route for you and yor life style and choices. She is respectful and timely, I could have never asked for a better specialist then her. I originally went to Ohio State to see a doctor for same and it was awful and such a horrible experience and then Dr Ott moved into Lancaster and my life became much simpler and my illness became so much more managable. Thank you Dr. Ott for helping make my life a happy life, and thank you for my son!

I saw another rheumatologist before. He tried to drive a diagnosis and actually painfully squeeze my arm when I said all I felt was a regular touch. I had an appointment with Dr. Ott scheduled (it was several months out hence seeing the quack). She walked into the room with a trainee and asked what I wanted from her! How rude!!!!!!!! I told her what I had been going thru. She asked if I had seen anyone else about my situation and as soon as I mentioned the previous quack-- That was the end of the appointment!@!@!@! No labs, no professionalsim!!!! She actually said she studied with the other doctor and agreed with him regardless! (bearing in mind that he prescribed me a prescription that scared the pharmacist!!!!) Good luck if you go with this one! I know she's the only one in the county but that shouldnt be the reason you use her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wonderful caring knowledgeable Doctor. I Suffered for years she found the reason why. Sometimes she runs later than your appointment time, that's only because she takes her time and listens to her patients, how rare is that? She doesn't have a rude bone in her body. A doc that cares. Wish there were more like her!
