I can say nothing but positive things about Dr. Barnhart and her team at OB Gals. With each appointment I felt heard, cared for, and was reassured and listened to with all my concerns. They even worked with me on the insurance/billing which was a huge relief. Dr. Barnhart made sure at every appointment I knew what to expect. She took the time to answer any questions I had and alleviate any concerns (I tend to worry a lot). This was my second c-section and it went 1000% better than my first one. My recovery afterwards was so much faster as well. She did a wound vac on me and it was a blessing to go that route vs. staples. I contribute all of that to the care that Dr. Barnhart took in my surgery. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Barnhart to take care of any obgyn items.

Dr. Barnhart delivered my second child and my experience was wonderful. A year later I found a lump and her level of compassion and care was above and beyond. Now nine years later she continues to be my OBGYN and provide my care. I continue to see her for my care and she has continued to stay on top of the latest research for breast cancer genetics and screening for not only myself but also my daughter.

I was rushed to get induced a day after my due date because it was close to Christmas. She kept telling me that it will be better that way to get induced because it’s gonna be annoying to go into labor that close to Christmas.. well when I got to the hospital it took them 12 hours of my kiddo not wanting to come out to do a c-section after they pressured me to get an epidural I did not want. I told them I didn’t want to be induced in the first place because I knew my child was not ready to come out yet, i don’t know if it was because of my age or what but it was the worst experience of my life.

I had a terrifying and miserable first trimester of my first pregnancy and begged to get in earlier than normal and was denied. When my appointment finally came, the staff were so rude to me, wait times unbelievable, and Dr Barnhart left me with no knowledge, no reassurance, rushed my appointment, and made me feel so small. After crying in the parking lot before my 3rd appointment, we decided to switch providers and are so happy we did. This office is so focused on making money and selling product. Not a healthy environment mentally and 0 focus on mental health.

She wasnt my Dr. I went into labor and couldnt make it to Mount Carmel to deliver. I went to Lancaster hospital because I was having bleeding. She told me I was 10 cm to push. This was my 6th child. I kept pushing but he wasnt moving. She and the nurses all kept yelling at me, telling me I wasnt pushing. I've pushed all my kids out in 15 min or less. I told her I was trying but the contractions were not strong enough. After 2 hours of pushing his head stuck, she finally gave me pitocin, which made contractions stronger and I had him in 2 pushes. She then RIPPED out my placenta before it detached causing me to hemorrhage! She is evil.

They charge for things that weren't done and dont get back with you when they say they will, not unless they want more money for an appt!

I've been a patient of Dr Barnhart for many years. She has been very professional and understanding. It may be difficult at times to see her due to deliveries but emergencies happen.

I used to be a patient of Dr. Barnhart years ago. She seems very knowledgeable. However, I called to set up an appointment to see her due to her being listed as a provider for my insurance plan. They refused to accept me due to being on "Medicaid" First of all, I pay a fortune for my marketplace insurance monthly and it is not medicaid. I explained this to another lady when I called back. The receptionist stated we are not taking, Medicaid, Medicare, Community Plans, or any Market Place Insurance at this time. I even offered to pay out of pocket for my visit and she told me that was insurance fraud. What?? How is me paying out of pocket for the visit fraud? I am saving the insurance company money if anything. I am sure there are legit reasons for this but it was very upsetting....

Dr. Barnhart might be a good doctor, but I have never met an office more concerned about making money, rather than actually helping people. After 3 bad appointments, my decision to find a new Gyno has been solidified.

The office staff is not understanding and very rude! It takes way too long to get records from this office.
