Completely disregarded what I had to say, argued with me about my reaction to a medication. Said it doesn’t count because I didn’t give it long enough. When the drug isn’t even prescribed directly for my issue, it’s off label, with poor supporting evidence. It’s my body, I’m allowed to say when I don’t want to push past horrible side effects for a maybe result. Got fired up when I said another medication recently worked for me, however it did have one neg side effect so I stopped. Said she would never give me that medication even though one of her peers did and It helped. Refused to refill a script I’ve been taking for migraines because she isn’t familiar with it. It’s not even a controlled substance or habit forming, it’s a migraine med my old pcp prescribed. I said I don’t want drugs that have certain side effects or aren’t a direct line of treatment for my issue and she argued with me. Just wanted to push antidepressants. The entire appointment felt like a power struggle.

She is direct, personal and friendly. She tells you how it is but she is very friendly about it.

The nurses at this location are rude and cut you off when you are trying to answer their questions. I do not feel like I am getting the best level of care here. They take several days to return calls and the answer is always make an appointment. Yet, it takes 2 months to get in to see Dr. Ryan unless you call for a sick appointment.
