I recently was diagnosed with a-fib and was introduced to Dr. Costea. I am 69 years old and know nothing about any of my treatment options. I explained that heart problems run in my family. Dr. Costea said that the risk of stroke was his main concern and discussed his detailed plan to minimize that risk. He exudes confidence as he explained each procedure. I have complete confidence in Dr. Costea and am grateful to have such a caring professional physician as my doctor. Also his entire staff is friendly and competent. -Eastgate October 2019

I was referred to Dr. Costea by my primary physician. Having read several negative reviews, I was prepared to meet an unfriendly and arrogant doctor. I was pleasantly surprised. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and very patient as he explained the treatment options available to me. I would highly recommend Dr.Costea to anyone in need of quality cardiac care.

24 year old with pots. And I had to fight him to do a tilt table. He never explained things and acted like I was faking.

Horrible Dr. Abrupt, rude, no eye contact. I asked for a medication review which wasn't done. He minimized my concerns about my health to the point of implying I shouldn't be there. My Father & his brother died from heart failure in their mid forties. I have tachycardia. I have illnesses that make me more likely to develop heart disease. Don't waste your time with this extremely rude unprofessional Dr.

I had a very serious VT/VF condition leaving me in cardiac arrest several times. I underwent an extensive ventricular ablation procedure with the Impella 2.5 ventricular assist pump. I have a long and very checkered cardiac history including a bypass, 2 stents, 2 atrial ablations, MVP and CHF. Dr. Costea was able to accurately assess the problem and correct it. In short, I owe my life to his skill and passion.

I wish i could give zero stars!!. He's an arrogant physician, doesn't take time to discuss. Showed up one hour late for clinic.

I would definitely recommend him to family and friends. He is a very professional and compassionate individual who gives you your best options and explains them in layman's terms so one can make an informed decision. He and his staff are very friendly and helpful. I arrived a couple of minutes late on a Friday afternoon and they were so accommodating at a very difficult time.
