List of Amanda M. Denney's Reviews
About every six months, I have either an in-office or a virtual appointment with Dr Amanda Denney. Prior to each appointment, I get a full complement of blood tests to check for proper levels. In each appointment, those tests are reviewed and explained to me in words I can understand. She asks pertinent questions and listens to my responses in a caring way. I can ask her questions at any time during the appointment and know that I will receive answers that address these questions with thoughtful consideration. I would highly recommend her because she is my physician of choice for my condition.
Dr. Denney is a wonderful listener and and all around great doctor. However, the office staff is dysfunctional. My husband went for lab work before his office visit as normal and lab orders had expired. Lab couldn't reach anyone in the office. Wasted trip. We called the office...long wait time..and told them what happened. Received call back that new lab orders sent. Went next day for blood work and still had to wait for lab to contact office to verify orders.
Have seen 5 different endocrinologists in my life. And hands down she is the best!
Dr. Denny Queen is a very caring Dr.. and seems to care about her patients. Would recommend her to anyone that needs an Endocrinologist.
Thorough, helpful, thoughtful, smart!
Dr. Denney rates 5 Stars after 1st visit compared to other Endocrinologists & Internists I've consulted w/for Thyroid/Diabetes past 8 yrs. 1) She listens w/compassion & cares; 2) she has other patients w/my rare problem, & did not assume 1 solution was better than another. Offered me a choice. WOW. Am now in trial of less expensive, low tech way to manage glucose - we'll see if it works. If not, can go back to insulin pump/CGM. Thank U Dr. D. She has given me back trust in MD and hope. Wow
One of the best, most thorough drs I have ever seen. I was sick for quite a while and had been bounced around from dr to dr with no answers. I was finally referred to Dr. Denny Queen and she figured the whole thing out in one visit. I will recommend her to anyone and everyone I can. She is very kind hearted as well!
Takes forever to get an appointment with her. Extremely poor follow up by her staff- probably because they are waiting for her to look at lab results, etc. She is great at first but tends to be dismissive with your issues. She is not an out of the box thinker- advises only conventional, establishment based treatment. Not a good fit for me.
I feel very comfortable with this doctor. She is very thorough and knowledgeable. Great bedside manner. She doesn't rushes through, spends considerable amt of time one on one with the patient, going over med history and all the details. Very responsive, answers questions, works with the patient on the best individual approach/treatment.
To give you just an idea of how very good Dr.Denny is, I am a patient of Dr. Denny's. I was hospitalized from sudden cardiac arrest (ie, my heart stopped. I was legally dead.) in Columbus, Ohio. Dr Denny drove 120 miles from Cincinnati to Columbus to help me while I was on a respirator in ICU. Dr. Denny helped my family pick out a local endocrinologist to oversee my diabetes while I was hospitalized on a respirator (unconscious) for two weeks. How many physicians drive 120 miles on a weekend to visit a patient?Dr. Denny is exemplary. What can else can I say?

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
