Sadly Dr Chun over dilated my husband throat and within 2 hours leaving facility bleeding started and couldnt be stopped for 8 days and worse part, records changed and Dr refused to ever see him again nor take any responsibility. Always be careful who you allow to do surgical procedures on your body!

I had a colonoscopy today, performed by Dr. Chun. I followed the prep directions, thought that went as well as could be expected. During the procedure, I was not knocked out, I kept telling them I could feel it, and it hurt. There was only one good thing about this experience:the nurse in the room where the procedure was done. She held my hand the entire time and comforted me as he shoved that instrument around my intestines. After feeling that, and feeling him take about 4 or 5 biopsies, the procedure finally ended. they wheeled me into recovery, where I began to cry because the experience was so horrible. When he finally came in, he was condescending, insinuated that I was a drug addict because of certain meds I am on, blamed me for not being knocked out during the procedure, told me the prep was poor, that my pain was not as bad as someone else's and I should just deal with it, that I should not be taking any pain meds for my knee which I had surgery on 2 weeks ago, because he had a much worse knee surgery and didn't take any pain relief. He also talked over me to my husband as if I was somehow incapable of understanding him because I am a woman. He would not answer my questions as to what I should do when the "just IBS" flares get bad, he said learn how to deal with the pain. He was an arrogant, misogynistic bastard. I do not recommend seeing him if you are looking for compassion.
