Terrible
Sat 6 hrs for an xray. Said they were suspicious of diabetes and didn't even draw blood. What a waste of time.
I don’t know what to say im just in shock ….. how you can keep open this kind of hospital especially for kids . Im first time here with my daughter, she broke her wrist and it took 3 hours only to take to xray and nurses are seating talking enjoying while my daughter crying. So please if you have chance to not come here please do not come highly not recommend! Please can someone from government to come and check this please before helping some other countries . People need help here!
Great children's hospital
Went to get lab work for my 10 year old daughter we got there at 7:30 checked in. Was told to go sit in the waiting area next thing I know the registration closed and every one was gone. We walked up to the urgent care that's open till 11 and no one ever came out to talk to us there either. Thanks for wasting my time now have to tell my sick daughter to wait one more day smh. Pathetic!
Came in was told under a hour. No one else was in the waiting area. Then hour and half later I watched at least 10 people leave and still not called back. Was told when I registered right when I came in that we should be going right back as several people just left. Then people start coming in and going back before us, I was told it was because they may be sicker but the one child was running around laughing and playing while my daughter is potentially having appendicitis! I waited over two hours to go back while everyone else waited 20. After we got back was told they were busier than usual, I was just sent here from another urgent care to have imaging and blood work! Should have just stuck to my gut and visited my local ER as it would have never taken this long to get simple work done.
They always take great care of my children!
First of all, It’s unacceptable that a children's hospital doesn’t have covered parking!!! This needs to be urgently evaluated by management. In terms of blood draw, it is also necessary to have professionals with greater training. I took my 4-month-old daughter for a blood test, I asked the professional if he wouldn't use the ultrasound, he said it wasn't necessary, result: he didn't find the vessel, the arm was garroted for almost 1 minute or more, he tried on the other arm, again, in addition to spending almost 2 minutes with her arm garroted, he put the needle in first and tried to find the vessel with the needle already inserted, obviously he couldn't! So for the third time he sent for the ultrasound and that's where I intervened and didn't allow the puncture for the third time!!!! I had asked about the ultrasound to help him before the first procedure, already foreseeing this unsuccessful act. We asked the person responsible for the department at reception to make a complaint, but he doesn't work on weekends. So I went to Cincinnati Children's in Downtown, another professional level, they were 2 professionals (I didn't need to hold my baby) they used the ultrasound and I counted in exactly 3 seconds she punctured the vein. In 2 minutes the total procedure was over!!!!
Dr. Taylor was wonderful. He truly was educated and genuinely cared about my daughters health. You could tell in his body language and tone. He took the time to explain her diagnosis and had an open ear to my concerns. He is by far one of the best doctors we've seen. The only reason for 4 stars is because of cleanliness. As we arrived into our room, the bed sheet was clearly dirty. That's not ok. A hospital, a children's hospital especially should be made 200% sure it is clean and disinfected.
I love going to Children's for my care! They are the best hospital and I feel safe under there care! All of the staff is very friendly and caring! The doctors I see go above and beyond for me! Cincinnati childrens has never let me down!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
