Went in for my 36 week check up. I brought up multiple concerns to her. The primary one being that I was in a lot of pain and my sciatica was so bad that I couldn’t walk or stand for more than 2-3 mins at a time without collapsing. I begged her for a growth scan to check how big my baby was because I knew she wasn’t “normal” sized. She refused. She said “its always uncomfortable at the end. there’s no need to see how big your baby is.” Fast forward to 40 exactly weeks, a different OB in the practice induced me and my daughter was born.... almost 11 pounds. She does not listen to her patients & made me feel like I was crazy for being in so much pain.

Went in for a first appoint with her as a new patient. I was referred to her to review some test results. I was scheduled for a Thursday at a very specific time because I was driving there from somewhere else. We discussed Thursdays because, I have a conflict every other Thursday but that was what she had available. I drive half an hour to get there and they can't find me in their system. Somehow I was scheduled for a test with an assistant on a different day. So deflated. Oh well.

I see Dr Costa along with my 3 daughters. we have seen her for years and LOVE her. She has a caring bedside manner and treats us like family.

Possibly the worst doctor I've ever met. I was in the ER three separate times before they found 3 cysts on my ovaries - one of which was 8 cm, far larger than normal. I was in excruciating pain and referred to Costa. She told me that what I was experiencing was normal and that running and exercise would aggravate it. Really? If you can't exercise because it will aggravate your cysts, that is NOT NORMAL! I've already had a hysterectomy.
