Listened to my concerns and didn't rush me. Worked me into his schedule.

The visit was brief and Dr Wu basically said that there was nothing he could do to improve the results for foot drop that Dr. N. Gates had repaired. He was matter of fact and said he thought I had good coping skills for the disability. I was disappointed but understood. It was his attitude of c’est la vie that rankled.

An exceptional Orthopaedic Surgeon with tremendous bedside manners. He thoroughly explains the patient’s condition, what the options are to address the condition, what is required of the patient, how he will address the issue, as well as, possible outcomes. He doesn’t pressure the patient and he listens attentively.

I had seen different orthopedic surgeon before with not great results. He explained more in one visit then I had been told in the last year. Listened to what I was actually saying about pain etc. And discussed options for now and later. Nice to see a surgeon take that kind of time and true care about your final outcome. Very hard to find these days, he is the best! Caring, informative and as a woman he absolutely treated me no different. Great doctor!

For routine foot injuries, I'm sure he is great, but not for complex foot history and problems. I am a young athlete who played collegiate soccer and was simply told to not do things that make my foot hurt, rather than trying to get to the root of the issues, bio mechanics and so on. Rude to a young female, I didn't feel respected and actually made sure to bring a male with me on the follow up so I would be more listened too, which sadly worked.

Dr Wu and his staff are fantastic and very friendly i would recommend Dr Wu to anybody that needs a orthopedic dr.

My mother needed surgery to repair her Achilles’ tendon and he took time to explain everything to us thoroughly. He was courteous and never once seemed to be in a hurry. His support staff was equally friendly and extremely kind. I highly recommend Dr. Wu!

Dr. Wu and his staff were fantastic! Dr. Wu was extremely patient in answering all my questions and really put me at ease. It was clear to me that he was not only extremely knowledgeable but also very caring. His repair of my Achilles Tendon was a complete success! The entire office staff was very pleasant and I never waited more than15 minutes to see him! I had knee surgery a few years ago at Beacon and the experience was very poor compared to Christ hospital.
