Jennifer M. Demos-Bertrand's Online Review Report Card

Please be well informed if you allow Jennifer to do a membrane sweep on you. I have never experienced such excruciating pain and honestly felt betrayed by the lack of information or warning. I read online beforehand and did not see descriptions of such an aggressive and painful way of doing this. I don’t know if she thinks that being this aggressive is what makes her “membrane sweeps so effective” as she was bragging but it makes me sad knowing she is doing this to other women and bragging that it is a good thing. Before this one, I had two natural, very smooth labors. After her membrane sweep that she was insisting on (I don’t handle pressure well so gave in after her continuing to bring it up), I found my third labor absolutely unbearable. Requested an epidural (never needed before this labor) and it did not even help to address that pain. It felt like a wound inside, and the contractions pushed baby’s head into what felt like the wound. Now pregnant with my fourth and final baby, and absolutely will not return to the Christ Hospital because of this experience. I also found her to rush through appointments and genuinely not care about me as a person, which I didn’t mind because it was my third baby and I kinda knew what was going on, but would not be an ideal doctor for a first time mom. I really try to see the positive on things and hate leaving bad reviews, just don’t want someone to feel uninformed and wronged the way I felt.

I have never felt as disrespected by ANY doctor the way I did with Demos-Bertrand. She is dismissive about any concerns, rushes through appointments (sometimes only spending minutes just to state she has seen you), weight shames INCESSANTLY, and is consistently in an awful mood as though you're putting her out by even setting foot in her office. It is sad that in today's world a woman would treat other women with such disrespect. After three visits without change, I immediately switched providers, as I could not bear the thought of this awful person delivering my child.

Dr. Demos is outstanding!!!!!

Dr. Demos is an outstanding human being. Her work goes beyond just being a doctor. Here’s a summary….. My wife was a high risk patient from Florida. Being nonnative to Ohio I’d have to admit, we were both scared lol. No family, no friends, new city & new hospital. All of these things were factored in our worry & this made us skeptical in our move because of her high risk history. Between a job opportunity plus our faith in GOD we made the move trusting that we would be placed in the right hands & there was Dr. Demos. Being placed under her care made this process “A breeze I tell ya” the whole time she kept us both assured that things were going to be ok, & they were. My wife’s delivery for both her & our baby girl was a successful one. Her emotional connect with us exceeded anything else. She recently performed the Tubal ligation for my wife….stick a fork in us because ”We are DONE”. Thank you Dr. Demos

I wish i can give negative star. Every time i visit Dr. Demose i never feel she care abt my problem. I feel i was ignored. My message to Dr. Demose was ignored even after seen by her staff.

I want to thank Dr. Demos, pre-op nurse Tammy, Mary, RN Susie (pacu), and anesthesiologist Tim for giving me great confidence now in the near future to receive surgery. Nothing is guaranteed but they reassured me that I was in great hands. Since I met Dr. Demos, she has always been a great OBGYN for me. Dr. Demos gave me insight into where I should go with the surgery during the process. She helped me to configure what I believe is best for me. I saw the bright side of the surgery, and it encouraged me to proceed with the process. The nurses were so good I could not tell them apart because they all had the same great bedside manners. Putting my trust in these extraordinary caretakers has made me see a new perspective when making decisions. As of today, I will continue to proceed with healing. I don't enjoy being sick, but who does? I got it bad. I'm not too fond of medicine or surgeries. I thank Christ Hospital for considering all of you as candidates to care for patients like myself.

Dr. Demos is outstanding !!!!! I wish I could give her 5 billion stars.

Dr. Demos is wonderful, she listened to me when other doctors wouldn’t. I wish I could give her more than 5 stars.
