List of Laura T. Broxterman's Reviews
I saw this doctor for a couple years. During that time, I had an IUD inserted. About a year later, I started having recurring yeast infections, recurring UTIs and BV. When I asked her if those could possibly be related to the IUD, more specifically the strings, she totally brushed me off, was dismissive of my concerns and refused to remove the IUD because in her mind, the “positives” outweighed the negatives. A few years later, and there are now studies that are linking an increased risk of recurring infections like yeast infections, UTIs and BV to having an IUD. Something about biofilms forming on the strings… hmm… I’ve never been to medical school a day in my life and I sussed the situation out better than she ever did.
I was previously seen by TriHealth doctors and it was confirmed that I had a subcnrionic bleed that was getting larger - when switching to Christ the nurse I saw at my first visit told me I could discuss with dr a care plan which could potentially include bedrest because of the growth in my bleed. Also I have a hemorrhaging cyst on my left ovary that is causing me pain. Came in to appt today she was about to give me a pelvic exam so I asked why? I had one in December with TriHealth she said okay then asked if I had questions… like yea…. I def do. What’s the plan of care for my bleed she then goes on to say it’ll resolve ….. so I also ask about my cyst she said that it prob resolved and that it’s round ligament pain. At this point she tells me my insurance will be terminated in April and basically care would be out of pocket so I just leave with ni pushback because I’ll need a new physcian anyway. And oh, barely wanted to refill my nausea meds because “it’ll go away soon”. HA a joke.
Today was my first visit with Dr Broxterman, I refused a Tdap and flu shot which seemed to really peeve her. However, someone that I just met in the most dismissive doctors visit I have ever had does not get to ask me "why". I politely gave a brief reasoning to which she rebutted that my child could "stop breathing and die", a little callous and overreaching. I have two children that I also didn't receive unnecessary vaccinations for and both are very healthy.
Would never recommend to anyone. Not even my worst enemy. Was completely out of line and unprofessional as soon as I said I was not going to go forth with a Csection. I had already been informed of the risks and benefits multiple times and I chose not to have a major surgery (and then went on to have a very successful all natural VBAC with actual supportive doctors). As soon as she didn’t get her way she tried every scare tactic in the book. Even told me that she’d “rather deliver a live baby today than a dead one later”. Completely out of line and unprofessional. Would give zero stars if I could.
Dr. Broxterman is a wonderful doctor. She explains everything very well and makes you feel so at ease. She lets you talk and ask questions.
She is kind, understanding, & very knowledgeable. She takes the time to connect with her patients.
I have no doubt about her surgical ability, but she seemed to "wash her hands" of my daughter's continued problems after the surgery, referring her to other specialists, who finally deemed it to be a gynecologic problem and sent us back to her, which is not happening. I would be concerned about referring young people to her that may be easier to brush off.
Dr. Broxterman unexpectedly delivered my first child after she was filling in for the practice I had been seeing. I can't imagine if any other doctor had been in the delivery room with me, there's absolutely nothing she could had done to make my experience better and I'm so grateful for doctors like her. She listened to every one of my concerns and walked me through everything, she made it feel like we had been friends for years.
I have never had an experience with a doctor where I have felt so comfortable and happy as I have with Dr. Broxterman. I usually am not inclined to write reviews, but Dr. Broxterman deserves an excellent review.
I have been seeing this practice for years. I was thrilled when I found out I was pregnant but unfortunately had a miscarriage. Laura Broxterman walked me through the entire process. She was honest, thoughtful, and reassured me that I would get pregnant. I now have a beautiful baby boy!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
