List of David D. Powell's Reviews
Dr Powell and his staff are top notch. Really wish we had never had to meet him
I have been seeing him for years...he is a very respectful man..goes above and beyond to help u..I have no complaints about him..He is a great dr.
Very friendly an knowledgeable, a doctor who truly cares about his patients.
Dr. Powell has been seeing my father for a little over 4 years now. My father had the same cancer that the dr had and said that he was putting my father on the same regime that he was on. After the first year of visits, he completely ignored my father. The dr never wanted to scan my father to see if his cancer had spread when my father was in excruciating pain, when he started getting a mass on his groin or when he started to not be able to eat, breathe or walk...... My father now has an 80 lb mass on his groin and had to go to Cleveland just to find out that his cancer had now spread to 4 other new places and his mass could have been avoided had it been acknowledged earlier in what was considered his “treatment “ which did both for him and dr Powell refused to change it! I honestly wouldn’t trust him to walk my dog let alone treat anyone I love with cancer!! If I could give negative stars, I would!! Dr. Powell has been seeing my father for a little over 4 years now. You’d think a doctor with cancer would be more concerned about the whole person of his patient. He was more concerned with beating the disease at all cost, including stealing his quality of life. He wouldn’t listen to his complaints, kept saying there was nothing more he could do, then dangle another drug of hope. After OSU specifically said “palliative care and quality of life”. He suffered thru all of his constant “experiments”. Doctor must realize what he gives, he may receive.
Dr Powell if caring, understanding, efficient, and extremely knowledgeable. He saved my life.
Excellent! My wife is a 7 year breast cancer survivor and was treated by Dr. Powell. Goes over and beyond with patients.
I cannot say enough about this Doctor and the care I received and will continue to receive from him and his staff He cares and listens fights for his pts hard to find in some physicians .
Doc Powell is a positive and lively personality, knowledgeable, and very good with patients and their family members. Most of his nurses and assistants have been friendly and helpful, a sure indication they enjoy their work and are treated well as employees. The only negative is that many of the patients are in walkers and wheelchairs and the automatic doors are one set that works and one doesn't and it has been that way for at least the past 4 months. Make it easy on your patients and get someone to fix or replace those doors so I can write a followup with 4 or5 stars instead of one or zero. I only have 7 weeks left so please find a way to get it fixed for your patients' sake. Sometimes the little things are what matters the most to those on their last days and the family members that have to bring them in and see them struggle with what are simple tasks often taken for granted by those of us who are blessed to be healthy. I would first say the doors that are supposed to open with the button do not both work and have been that way for the past 5 months making it very difficult to get in for patients in wheelchairs and walkers. Also having an automatic opening door that has to be manually opened is very heavy and difficult on my surgically repaired shoulder. Also when we requested appointments at 11 a.m. or later they keep scheduling at 8 a.m. and refuse to reschedule. We requested a later time because we have over an hour drive to the facility and my father is almost 90 years old and it's difficult to get him up and moving that early and rude to force him to do so. I find their staff somewhat rude and uncooperative as well.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
