I had two separate complicated wisdom tooth extractions done by Dr. Knowles and never once doubted whether I was in good hands… the man knows his stuff! Both surgeries were seamless, the staff was extremely kind and accommodating, and we were given plenty of very clear instructions before and after the procedures. Unfortunately I got dry socket the first time around, but it was not due to anything they did wrong and he kept seeing me until it was healed. The only negative thing I could say is I think they book their appointments too close together so the wait times can be very long, but that wasn’t worth deducting a star over. Highly recommend! I was referred to this practice by my dentist last year around February or March. I called a few times to get an appointment set up and found their operating hours are ridiculous. Why even practice at that rate? Set the appointment and then I got sick so I canceled, it was prime for Covid at the time. I couldn’t get in until September and the woman I spoke with was very rude! When expressing how far out and concerning it was about the time of the appointment (I rarely got vacation time so I would’ve had to for this no doubt), she says “Well, that’s all we have. Do you want the appointment or not?” I took it reluctantly. When the time came, I ended up having to cancel the appointment because I was getting hired into my job full time. I couldn’t miss that. I never got ahold of anyone again to reschedule. I called 4 or 5 times during “business hours.” I couldn’t help my situations. Wait times can be long, but the care is great.

I have known Dr Knowles for a long time and have never met a more knowledgeable and caring oral surgeon. His concern for the health of your teeth and gums is genuine. His approach to any surgical procedure is to make you aware of what is going to happen during and after your procedure. Dr. Knowles is a fine dental surgeon. He has worked on my teeth now for many years and I have never had a problem. One of the raters here claims that Dr. Knowles only cares about money. I know for a fact that Dr. Knowles does missionary work where he treats third world patients for free. So I believe you can dismiss that criticism. This man knows what he is doing.

What a piece of work this guy is. This man is not a real physician in the true sense of the word. He only cares about money. Nothing else matters to him, except your wallet or purse. What happened to your Hippocratic oath, doc!? STOP PRETENDING AS IF YOU'RE COSMETIC SURGEON! You are NOT. Start acting like a real doctor or get out of the business.

As good as going to the dentist gets.I know, I know-- that's a terrible tagline. But it really is true. Everything about my experience here, at a dentist, was as good as I could hope for it to be. So, where do I begin? He didn't sneeze in my mouth, he didn't ask questions while I had fingers in my mouth, and he didn't do any annoying scraping. Beyond that, though, he really took a personal interest in me as a patient. He asked about my life without prying and went as far as to call and check on me the night after my surgery.You're probably wondering why I would even choose to review a dentist. I asked myself the same question. The truth is, I was so satisfied with the personal attention I received here that I wanted other dental agonizers to know that there is a better way.So, while I hope I don't ever need to return here, I would choose this office over any other in the area for oral surgery.
