It is so wonderful to have an orthopedic doctor who listens to my problems as I grow older. Dr Nielsen listens, gives us options of what we can go to fix the problem, and then makes it happen. I also appreciate his humor. Growing old isn’t for wimps (my Dad ‘s humor), and I try to apply that to how I approach old age. I know when it is time, Dr Nieman WILL do the surgery!

Excellent doctor. He really cares about his patients and their health and well-being. I really like that. He took the extra time to explain to me in language that I could understand, what was going on with my knee and how to get it better. He is a valuable asset to the organization.

The Dr. was in the room promptly....he showed me my x-rays and explained to me how and what my knees were doing. He discussed options, to help prolong my knees and possibly help eliminate the extreme pain. I told Dr what my concerns were about the meds going in my body, and asked if a nurse could just allow me to sit( in case of a bad reaction/ that I am so prone to). I was numbed, then recieved a shot. The Dr himself sat with me the entire time. Thank you!
