List of Marilyn J. Kindig's Reviews
Dr. Kindig no longer works for Women's Health for Life. But the other Dr's in the practice are great as well. I do miss Dr. Kindig and wish her positive vibes!
I had a great time with this Doctor. I was very nervous to meet a doctor. But she treats me and explain things very clearly like my mom. She is such a kindhearted doctor.Thanku. Thanku so much Doctor for your patience, love and care to me. May God Bless you
They're very good and really show they care. Great Doctors! (:
Dr. Kindig is so awesome she takes time to help you understand things and makes sure she give you the chance to be heard she is good for ladies with female issues I couldn't see any other doctor unless she retires her staff is so kind they make you feel so at peace over all its a great practice
Kendig!!! Is Very rude, insensitive, no compassion, and knows how to make a person that's already down, down even more! Hint of bipolar herself.
The doctors here really care. They make sure you understand what's going on, with having my first child I had so many questions and concerns I probably drove them crazy. But they were always there to treasure me and answer my questions in everyway. The whole staff is wonderful.
At my first few appts I truly thought Dr. Kindig was a good doctor. However, at my 12 week appt I was in for quite a surprise. I was nearly humiliated. I am a first time mother-to-be and a nervous person in general. I had my mom with me because my boyfriend is saving his vacation for delivery. Dr. Kindig had my labs from my second appt and decided 6 weeks later to "let loose" on me. She told me she didn't want me to gain any weight during my pregnancy (which I hadnt yet that far) and she told me I could probably afford to lose 20 pounds. I am a nurse and I know my body and am well aware of the food I put in it. She also suggested cutting out milk because I told her I love drinking milk in the evenings. She suggested water and said to drink only one glass of milk a day. (she was worried I would become diabetic due to family history). She also said if I didn't follow her diet suggestions she "would be happy to deliver my 10 pound baby via c-section." I can handle the rude "suggestions" in reference to my weight but when I became upset and began to cry (thank you pregnancy horomones) she suggested I may need counseling!!! Then proceeded to question my support system because the father of the baby wasn't at the appt. I had my mother with me! And my boyfriend is supporting this baby by working many hours to provide for us! I just do NOT think it isprofessional to question a woman's support system and basically humiliate her at a visit. Prenatal visits are supposed to be exciting. Not scary if a pound was gained or a lab value is off....
I am truly disappointed in her and women's health for life. They dropped me at 7 1/2 months pregnant because I was a "no-show" for a few appointments anytime I couldn't make it I called before my appointment to reschedule. Things come up, work, weather, or sometimes pregnancy makes u forgetful and living half an hour away I had to reschedule due to the roads this winter. As I said before I always called to reschedule. If this was an issue someone should have addressed it was an issue before completely dropping a first time pregnant woman at 7 1/2 months!
Overall I am disappointed with Dr. Kindig. Twice she entered the room without reviewing my chart, in a hurry, and asking mr the questions that she would not have needed to ask if she bothered to review the chart. My concerns seemed unimportant to her. Twice she made me feel like a complete idiot that I scheduled an appointment with her! Perhaps she is good with the pregnant women/laboring/ etc.; as for me ... I am looking for another doctor.
I was to have surgery from another doctor, and was to go to OSU and i was telling some girls in cath lab and they said to go see Dr.Kindig and she will take care of you. Well i did go see Dr.Kindig and she wanted to try some meds first and see if they work, and if not she will do the surgery for me.I called Dr.Kindig on a saturday night with heavy bleeding, she called in some meds and then told me to call her at 10:30am on sunday and if the bleeding was still bad at 12:00am she said to go to the ER,well at 10:35am on sunday Dr.Kindig called me and said she was wanting to know how i was doing. Well we tried for 2 1/2 months and we thought they where working but they didn't so she did the surgery on Dec. 14,2009. i can remember the day of my surgery, Dr. Kindig comes in to my room, and sits down beside me and holds my hand until she leaves to go get ready for my surgey and when she dose that she goes over what she's going to do and tells me im going to be back to my old self soon.I went to see Dr. Kindig a week after and said i was doing great and healing on the outside great to. That night mom and I was coming home and had to slam on the brakes hard and i started to hurt very bad. So i called and Dr.Kindig the next morning and she said to rest and do not a thing. Dr.Kindig is the BEST!!!!! I love her and she does take care and is worried/cares about her patients. When i called after hours it was no time that she called me back. She's is very good to me. I called this week (monday the 28th of Dec.) i see Dr.Kindig on the Jan.5th. Because im having pain when i eat and pain in the belly and lower and in my back, she is going to talk to me to see what we can do. If you don't have an ob/gyn Dr.Kindig will help you out a lot...... I would tell everyone i know to go to see Dr.Kindig

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
