Love this doc! He was so kind and fun with my son at his appointment. Eased my fears about scaring and boosted my son’s confidence. If you have children that may need to be seen by a plastic surgeon, thus is THE GUY to go see. He also removed a growth on my face last year and you cannot even see where it was now. He is awesome!!!!

Dr Akers is the best! He performed my double breast reconstruction after cancer. He did such an amazing job. He is a caring doctor that was very easy to talk with a super personality. HIGHLY recommend him.

It's been 3 years since Dr. Akers removed the Melanoma from a lymph node in my face. It had traveled from a malignant mole by my eye. I will always have a scar to see in the mirror everyday ,but it could be a lot worse. He went above and beyond to find the path and nodes where the cancer had traveled. I do wish they had an easier cheaper way for reconstruction as I could not afford it. But I do feel like he was the second in the line of doctors who saved my life and for that I will forever be grateful of him.

This guy is a greedy money hungry blob. He demands $100 simply for a consultation fee, other plastic surgeons offer free consultations. Don't waste your time!!

Dr. Akers closed a surgical site on my face from above my lip and through my lip. The incision site follows the normal lines of my face and the incision line will be barely noticeable after the entire healing process. He is a very nice guy, easy to talk to and he assured me he would do a good job. He did an excellent job. I know there are some people out there that think they can only get good care in a "bigger city" but Dr. Akers is an excellent choice if you need a plastic surgeon and because he's close to home, appointments are close too.
