I went to see Dr. Heaphy to see if he could help me with some uneven coloring on my face that was the result of adult acne. Well, he must have been having a really bad day, because he took one look at my face and in a very dismissive tone of voice he said he wouldn't do anything because there were several spots on my face that were irritated and still healing. Okay, no problem, I thought-he could just treat my acne and then treat my coloring problem. But, I was absolutely taken aback when he abruptly stopped, and again, in a very dismissive tone, he told me that he would NOT treat my coloring problem until my face was completely healed. So, in that same dismissive tone of voice he told me to call for an appointment when my face was totally healed. He then turned and just walked right out of the room! I could NOT believe what had just happened! To this day, I still do not have a clue as to why he acted that way that day. But, I guess I'll never know because I will NEVER make the mistake of seeing HIM again!

I was refered to Dr. Hemphy by my family doctor for an open sore I have had for 9 years. On the initial visit he had a biopsy run and it was Basil Cell Skin Cancer. He made an appointment for me to remove it. 7 1/2 hours later I was cancer free and he done an excellent closure. I had a hole a 1/2 inch deep and about 2 1/2 inch in diameter. If you seen it now it has healed very well and not that noticeable. DR. Hemphy as some very skilled hands and a excellent doctor. I will recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Heaphy was patient and kind as I explained my problem. He spent 30 minutes with me. We are working together to find the cause of my illness. Highly recommend. D. Kidd

My husband and I both have gotten surgery by Dr. Heaphy. We think he’s great, first my husband in October and me in May, 2019. We found the nurses to be caring. He has a sense of humor if you relax with him.

Dr. Healthy is rude. Ruth is excellent, but I'll never go back to Heaphy.

Terrible bedside manner, does not let patients give history or answer questions. Cuts his patients off....very disrespectful and uncaring.

Careless, arrogant, been in practice too long and not at all up to date on new research....evidence based research. Stay far away from this evil man!

First of all, I gave him one star because they didn't have a zero or any negative numbers to choose from. In my opinion, this guy has HORRIBLE PEOPLE SKILLS, and his "bedside manner" is...well, let's just say that if he was an excellent doctor, you could probably just ignore his total lack of any kind of bedside manner. It's as though he makes you feel like he hates his job, and that YOU are forcing him to even be there! I've seen him twice. The only reason I went the second time was because on my first visit to see him he was, what I have concluded, his normal horrible self, and I thought that perhaps I had just caught him on a bad day. Boy was I WRONG!! And, as far as his medical skills go, well, let's just say that a great number of years as a doctor does NOT always mean that a doctor has gotten better with all of that experience. And, in my opinion, his years of experience only means that a less than mediocre doctor has kept his medical license. After all, you do know what they call a person who finishes at the very bottom of his class in medical school, don't you? They call that person "DOCTOR"...

Have been seeing Dr. Heaphy for almost 15 years and would recommend him to anyone that needs the dermatologist. Have had many procedures to remove skin cancers and have never had any problems with the scars or with the healing
